- This is the Chinese version of Wheesung's Heartsore Story. Wei Chen wrote the rap part by himself. I really like the dance, it was very nicely executed. This is the second single from his new album Po Xiao. The album is jointly produced by Tianyu (eeMedia) from China, and CJ E&M from Korea.
Anyone recognize the actress? I know that she's Korean, that's about it.

Wei Chen was originally already a singer in China. But his agency ee media has tied up with korea's CJ E&M in the hopes of turning him into an artiste that will appeal to both the korean and chinese market. I think it's also to test if chinese and korean artistes can eventually tap into each other's market and all that. He composed and wrote the lyrics for q a few songs on this album.
I came back to this 6 years later after this song played in the recent Running Man episode. Time flies that I forgot I even commented here before. But I still love this song ;)

this mv was playing in a Asian cafe place and I was just totally spazzing the whole time.... couldnt take my eyes off the tv... haha... and I heard some girls on the table beside taking bout weichen.... Wei Chen ma boy is pretty well known.. so proud of him... . cant wait for his new album V Space xD

it's also meant as a cultural exchange sort of thing. Yepps. He was the first chinese singer to sing mandarin song on mcountdown. But with exo-m and timez and all the new groups, more mandarin groups are singing in mandarin on korean broadcasts now.

Simplified is used in China, it's just as it sounds, it's simplified. Traditional is more complicated and used in Taiwan, that one sticks more to the old characters that were first used when Chinese was.. Er- created. Whereas simplified has been changed. But my mom, who is currently 55, knows both. I don't know how, but she says that they're pretty similar.

Then some established chinese producers worked on a few songs. The rest of the album consists of songs written by korean producers and they let him do a cover of wheesung's song. He also sang a song runaway in both korean and chinese in collaboration with MBLAQ's Lee Joon and Thunder.
@yiitong he is already very famous in China, youtube is banned in China so that is probably he has low view count on youtube. But if you go to chinese sites like tudou or yinyuetai he has millions of views.

Wei Chen is a Chinese artist, but I believe his album was coproduced and distributed by a Korean company.

OMG. Now that you mentioned it.. I totally do not recognize her as THE SAME YOO HANA from My Lucky Star. She looked so much better then when she was with Jimmy Lin. I finished both dramas, and I really didn't connect the two characters. Did she do something to her face? She looks really different in Paradise Ranch. In fact, she looks like Ou Ya Ruo 歐雅若 from MLS.
