Quick question as I’m watching, what is bad about dry firing air guns? Genuinely curious cuz young me made some bad choices then 😂 Also wish they had filled in or otherwise covered those gaps in the barrel on the bottom..
@Rhaenspots I think that if you dry fire a break barrel gun, you can damage the piston seals due to there being no resistance. The pellet creates resistance and stops the piston and its seal from slamming into the compression chamber.
@@GreeklishOutdoorsokay that makes sense! Mine were the kind with the cylinder of sorts to make it semi auto. I probably still ruined them by dry firing with gas way too much lol. Always love your videos friend! Hope your back is feeling better 💜

I had a similar pistol, it wasn't good for my bad wrists so I have a few co2 ones and a few classic British springer pistols (including a BSA Magnum. 22 and Webley Tempest .22)👍
Yeah unfortunately so. They were ready jammed in the barrel. Had to abandon the first attempt at shooting the video 🤦🏻♂️ Now I’ll always keep a metal rod with me.
@@GreeklishOutdoors The Tempest is fun but my favourite is the BSA 240 Magnum (1994-2001) I'm not a fan of BBs but I got a Daisy 415 pistol because the power is great. I got two 415s so my grandson and I can shoot.😁 Lately I bought a Daisy powerline 880, pump up rifle and love it.😁👍🍺
I've got a 1950s Webley Junior that out performs that waste of the earth's resources. Your first clue that it's going to suck is the word Umarex on the box.
The muzzle energy is very poor for a springer pistol. I would've expecting at least 4ftlb. It's hardly any better than a CO2 pistol. Certainly won't be joining my collection.
Yes the spring isn’t very strong. I could tell when cocking the gun, as it didn’t take much effort. It’s a budget gun and although it’s not very powerful, I think it would be ok for someone starting out in the sport. I can understand why you wouldn’t choose to have it though. All the best 😊👍🏼
100 m/s (330 ft/s)? Nope! A bunny would laugh at that! I'd want at LEAST 600 ft/s. "Hatsan," "RWS" & others have spring-piston air pistols that will do that, THEN there are the PCPs!
@@danhouse7565 In most cases, yes. But the 600 ft/sec Hatsan is pretty reasonably priced. Also, there's the multi-pump Crosman, if you don't mind pumping between shots. AND it can be had with a shoulder stock!
@@Pootycat8359 Yea, I'll hve to concede the shoulder stock option :) TBH thats one of the first things I looked at when I got mine. I think it could be done, but the development time and crafting of it IMO isnt worth it--yet

@GreeklishOutdoors it was fairly simple to do. I build custom airguns and had the parts as extra from my Crossman builds. It does look awesome though as a carbine and a lot easier to shoot with a stock. 💯🫡👌✌️❄️☃️🌲🇺🇲
Good review however the pistol is complete garbage just most of umarex pistol are I am an avid shooter and own dozens of pistols and the umarex brand pistols always fail I currently own over a dozen pistols built by them and not one is in working order they all leak and for the amount invested it's unbelievably frustrating knowing that there pistols average just over 3 months before they fail and being from Canada the Cabela's store only provides a 60 day warranty and the time and Hassel and cost to send them for repair is just not worth it in many cases the pistol didn't even come back as customs seize the pistol and destroy them claiming it could be used in a crime or request a valid PAL # of witch isn't even required to own them I have no way to repair them or use them and the thousands of dollars spent was a complete waste unfortunately they are the main provider of co2 pistols the shops use making good quality units next to impossible to find and buy another matter is the receipt paper used by most retailers fades and disappears within 4 to six months rendering a one year warranty impossible to attain and of course without original receipt and proof of purchase they won't even repair them if you offer to pay for it so heads up if you are expecting to own and use there units for a long time it won't be the case they will fail garenteed and unless you want to spend an additional 40 or 50 dollars on top of the 250-350 you paid and are willing to risk getting it seized and waiting 3 to 4 months for it to return if at all then enjoy but I for one and non of the 85+ members in my club will buy or own anything they sell and as of the 1st day of 2025 there products are no longer permited on our indoor or outdooR range

@CdEmm50 ooh the Webley tempest looks great. But the Webley Mk VI .22 revolver is on my list of Pistols to get in the future.
@@GreeklishOutdoors The Tempest is fun but my favourite is the BSA 240 Magnum (1994-2001)
I'm not a fan of BBs but I got a Daisy 415 pistol because the power is great.
I got two 415s so my grandson and I can shoot.😁
Lately I bought a Daisy powerline 880, pump up rifle and love it.😁👍🍺
@CdEmm50 Sounds like you have quite a collection. I bet the pump up rifle is fun 😁👍🏼 🔫
I've got a 1950s Webley Junior that out performs that waste of the earth's resources. Your first clue that it's going to suck is the word Umarex on the box.
I had to look up the Webley Junior. It looks very interesting. 👍🏼
How long is parliament gonna be ok with that toy ?
With what I see the UK government doing these days…. Not long. Luckily I’m in Greece, so for now I don’t have to worry about it. 😊👍🏼
Nah needs to be mag fed, no break barrel 😅
That would be great 😊👍🏼
Then it would not be inexpensive.
⛔Like the '90s NINTENDO gun.....
😂 yes it does look a bit like one of those. However, I wouldn’t recommend you firing it at your TV or using it for duck hunting 😁
@GreeklishOutdoors 😁👍
Why you did not mentione a terrible trigger? Pull weight of 16 lbs...
I didn’t think it was that bad. Maybe I just have strong fingers 😁👍🏼
Scanko.........I worked with a lady that was a Scank..........😮😮😮
🤦🏻♂️😂
The pistol looks a lot like the pistol used from RoboCop
It certainly does 😊👍🏼👍🏼
It looks nothing to like a Beretta 92.
Too much plastic looks like a toy.
Thanks for the review but not for me.
Cheers.
I can understand why you feel that way. Cheers. All the best 😊👍🏼
the synthetic materails is what keeps the price down.
Blimey I fell asleep twice 😴
Good for you 😂👍🏼
100 m/s (330 ft/s)? Nope! A bunny would laugh at that! I'd want at LEAST 600 ft/s. "Hatsan," "RWS" & others have spring-piston air pistols that will do that, THEN there are the PCPs!
And you'll pay for the that diffference.
@@danhouse7565 Making your own is easy! Of course, you must have the skills & proper tools.
I’m not sure it’s designed for bunnies, only targets 🐰 ❌ 🎯
The worth plastic gun ever....
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. All the best 😊👍🏼
I mounted a AR buffer tube adapter through the back of it and put a AR folding stock to mine now it's a carbine . Just wish I could figure out how to Mount a scope or red dot . 💯🫡👌✌️
😲 wow that it is a hell of a customisation 😁👍🏼
@GreeklishOutdoors it was fairly simple to do. I build custom airguns and had the parts as extra from my Crossman builds. It does look awesome though as a carbine and a lot easier to shoot with a stock. 💯🫡👌✌️❄️☃️🌲🇺🇲
@josephsaucedo8691 Sounds awesome! 😊👍🏼
good pistol terrible trigger- to cheaply made, needed glow sights- more of a look of a dueling pistol-
That is a very good point. It really is like a duelling pistol 🔫 😁 All the best 👍🏼
Way too slow, I have an old Beeman break barrel pistol that has a 6” barrel that shoots at 400 fps.
Yes it definitely has a weak spring inside. Not sure if this can be changed to up the power. 😊👍🏼
Thanks very much. Sorry to hear that you’ve had a bad experience with Umarex. I’ve only had one pistol of theirs which had the same issue. The law seems crazy where you are. It’s so bad that they would seize the air pistols. Governments these days ruin all the fun. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience. All the best and have a great day 😊👍🏼
Cool toy too bad you guys can't have real guns. If you can afford it get the hell out.
Yes it’s definitely fun to shoot. Unfortunately we don’t have many of the same liberties as the US. Hopefully things will change for the better in 2025 🤞🏼 All best 👍🏼😊
Man, I don't think I saw you shoot it once in this video 😅 it was more about pellets and targets, than you actually shooting it..this video didn't help me at all what the pistol was all about. Don't work so hard on the video and more about you shooting it..
@@meathead2676did you miss his in depth gun specs when you was smoking your pipe at 1 minute 20seconds he chats on all about it pay attention to the screen not your drugs dude
This was a review of the gun, including checking power output and accuracy with a variety of different pellets, and my thoughts on its quality and value for money. Things I thought would be useful if someone was interested in purchasing the gun for themselves. All the best 😊👍🏼
Pass...😕👎
It’s not for everyone. All the best 😊👍🏼
