I got the message on dashboard saying parking brake failed or smth.... Then it disappeared when fitted the button back in, but now i have gong sound going off all the time with no faults on dashboard, it is driving me crazy...
Hey, is this removal the same for a BMW X3 F25 prelci model? I saw some videos removing the whole center console, and some only by prying, lifting the button up, not much info on the internet and feels quite intimidating to do.
The removal is the same. The switch is not the same. See this BMW electric handbrake buttons are not all the same. What type does my car have? ruclips.net/video/Y3nzXfYjw78/видео.html
This is amazing the BMW service wanted $580 for replacing it.
Glad it helped 😊
This was helpful, thank you. Can you please make a video for replacing the P button on the gear shift & the volume controls on the steering wheel ?
This worked perfectly, thanks so much. Great job with the video.
It's actually much easier to lever the old button off from behind!
?
@@billybob8620 the video suggests levering it off from the front, but I found it much easier from the back
That was just satisfying to watch. Can not wait to replace mine🫠🫠
