“His then wife would go on to marry a much more successful driver, Brian Scott.”
I am deceased.
Unfortunately that part was spoken too soon because it is another NASCAR Bust
Edited: actually Darren is not off the mark because despite of No wins…75 top 10s in Xfinity. That’s success
You sure as crap aren't Mayfield nor Scott nor Caisse.
Imagine leaving a marriage with a NASCAR Bust, for another NASCAR Bust.
At least Brian Scott made it to cup
@@patrickracer43 true dat
@@kultome and Brian Scott won a few truck races
@@sportsfan09yt And he got a 2nd place finish in a Cup race!
LOL 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
I already know he’s a bust because I’ve never heard of him
I thought I was the only person in the universe who remembered him.
I didn’t know about him before now
@@crystaljon i saw him in xfinity races when i was a kid back in 2010 and see him sometimes when i go back to watch the 2010 races. I figured he was just another random driver small teams were going with, i had no idea about the assault
@@mesc681 i remember him from the modified series. and only remember him driving in the affinity series a few races.
I know sean personally. He still races selected short track series in the northeast
I... did not expect how the second half of the video went
Wait so Sean Casies was gay?
I love learning about careers of drivers who I've never heard of
1K FISH
👍
So do i.
Yikes! I normally think of these NASCAR Busts videos in a lighthearted manner, but that violent attack on his "friend," caught me completely off guard
Ik you wrote this a month ago but if the sexual assault allegations are valid I think the beating was deserved
Fascinating video as always!
Honestly, Sean Caisse's story is one of the darkest stories that I've ever heard in my time following NASCAR...
It seemed whenever Sean drove for a good team in Trucks and Xfinity he just collapses under pressure
@@jackietang3789 I know right? That doesn't sound good at all.
@@jackietang3789 or under pain killers
Gone too soon dan wheldon, it will be the 10 year anniversary of his death and to honor him is a career retrospective
I think the little detail in the divorce there about “abusing painkillers” would probably explain most to all of his NASCAR failures after his K&N days. And the Jeremy mayfield-esque events that happened afterwards
Edit: I mean like NO ONE crashes that much in qualifying especially a back to back K&N runner up with multiple wins. That’s why you don’t do drugs
I dont think it's a forgone conclusion that he was on drugs when he was racing. If anything I think he wasn't mentally healthy enough to handle the pressure and drove over his head. Those same demons probably lead him down the path of drug abuse later.
“Kay went on to remarry a more successful NASCAR Driver in Brian Scott.” 😂😂😂
Actually Darren is correct 75 Top 10s in Xfinity, that’s success and level of “Not a Bust” despite of no wins
I guess you could call this The *Caisse* of Sean Caisse
The curious Caisse of Sean Caisse
🥳 You win today’s comment section Carnation!
haha funny
Yeah, I hear the Nascar thunder 2004 music in the background
Yeeeee Guilt by Fingertight!
“Milk in 120 degree heat”- this is why I subscribe
7:20 2012 Hall of Fame 150 you say?
*Slapshoes intensifies*
I know Joey Logano gets a bunch of hate thrown at him but oof, *Sean Caisse was even worse...*
Wait... *does that mean we should respect Logano more?*
Joey Logano might be considered a dirty driver to some fans
But Sean Caisse is an overall dirty person
Yes he does so much good things and is a great person. Not to meansion how much Joey has been through. But just to wrap it up at no way should we be comparing Joey Logano to Sean Caisse.
Joey deserves more respect
Joey has always deserved more respect then he gets
Yes @@BuschWhackerReviews he does so much and gets so little in return from the nascar community
Michael Mrucz and BFM upload within a few minutes.
Yup, it’s Friday.
Also 3 hours before a ROTFF episode!
The early 2000s had such a good rookie class that definitely are him look worse
Watched him win at Adirondack Speedway in the East series back in the day. Even cheered him on. I didn't know how much trouble he found himself in...
*Championship Seasons: Bobby Hamilton 2004*
Ron Hornaday 2009
Brett Moffitt 2018
Tyler Reddick: 2019
Elliott Sadler: 2016-2018
*Wait, I forgot. The chase screwed him.*
Brian Scott is the hero of this story.
And not a complete bust at NASCAR 75 top 10s and got poles in Xfinity and 2 wins in Trucks
Dammit, Sean; when I said "lay the smack down", I didn't mean crash the car and I also didn't mean beat and rob some guy.
Happy to see this series back underway.
I have never heard of this person, and im shocked. thanks bfm
Funny how you mention Caisse’s wife leaving him for “a much more successful” Brian Scott, and the first recommended video under this is “NASCAR Busts: Brian Scott”
I was disappointed with how Sean turned out. I was actually in the stands as a kid during his first ARCA win. What could’ve been bruh.
Hearing "Guilt" by Fingertight in the background....love it!!! NT2004 easily had the best sound track of any NASCAR game. Awesome choice, Darian!
I’m one of the 9 people who’d heard of Sean Caisse before this video, and I never knew about his, uh, extracurricular problems.
That boy had a NOSE on him didn’t he 😂😂
That hall of fame race was stacked
Suggestion: Denny Hamlin: A legacy of failure (inspired by UrinatingTree)
Put him on the video too
1:48 I can not explain how ironic this is
* cough * loganos fave move is the bump and dum- I mean bump and run
NASCAR Busts: Brent Sherman and Tyler Walker
Damn, sucks to hear that he didn't fulfill that potential in the upper series. Also, dude's from Pelham, New Hampshire?
Being an NH native, this NASCAR Busts vid, in a way, hits home-state wise
I'm from Mass, which is practically the same as NH, so seeing this video really hit home with me.
@@TheFredster32 Mass has worse drivers than we do. We are not the same.
@@AlanNadeauIII Well I’m from North Mass, and Pelham is very close to me, plus I met him and knew him personally during a part of my childhood, so it’s within the metro area of my hometown.
@@TheFredster32 Ahhhhhhh.
Also I looked, Pelham is more central mass but closer to west side
2007-2013 Rookies video would interesting, looking back at some of the worst years for rookies in the Cup series, Joey Lagano was the only one that came with a great career
Juan Pablo Montoya had a decent career as well
As well as Keselowski having a great career
me the first half: oh well he just couldn't make it in the top divisions, nothing too bad
me in the second half: he did WHAT?!?!?
Bad Seasons: Carl Edwards 2012
5:16 Are we just not gonna talk about that Kevin Conway near-miss?
On a more light hearted note, digging the fingertight nostalgia from thunder 2004 🤘🏼
I've never heard of Sean Caisee before tbh
Didn’t Sean Caisse had a lucky underwear during 2009 Nationwide qualifying at New Hampshire.
Hey Darian, I got a NASCAR Bust suggestion; NASCAR Busts Cole Whitt
Being from New Hampshire I wanted Sean Caisse to succeed. Just never happened for him.
I actually got to go to one of the Busch East races at Loudon with my dad and got to meet him in his trailer. Seemed like a pretty cool guy, even got to get a picture with him. In addition, we even got infield access in his team trailer during the race, which was pretty cool. Never would have thought that his life would take that turn.
This is some pretty sick and disturbing stuff but it's important to be aware of these things
i remember sean from the modified series. i honestly bought the hype early on from watching him during that year.
Never heard about this driver. Thanks for doing this video.
I remember when he ran the BNE tour for their races at my track. Had weird vibes from that guy, this confirms that
Finally... A new NASCAR Busts video.
Sean Caisse is currently a Landscaper for his company Caisse Construction
wild, i had algebra class with him up here in his hometown of Pelham, NH
Joey Logano: NASCAR Cup series champion, Daytona 500 winner, potential hall of Famer
Shean Caise: "WHO!?!"
I’ve never heard of him
We need sooooo many more Nascar Bust videos. 💜BFM💜
great as always
I live a couple miles away from Beech Ridge Speedway. This was absolutely crazy
Listening to him in interviews, it's shocking anyone ever gave him a ride. It was always pretty clear to me something wasn't right with him.
"more successful driver, Brian Scott"
What a burial.
At least Scott has 2 wins in Trucks. And finished 7th in the 2009 Truck series standings and 23 top 10s and 75 top 10s and 5 poles in the Xfinity Series.
I think most people remember him from the 2010 Bristol Night Race in the 39 when Marty Reid called him Ryan Newman. At least that's the only reason I remember him.
No wonder why I forgot about Caisse
Sean’s wife left him for Brian Scott?! Another NASCAR Bust?! Is this the BFM Cinematic Universe?
At least Brian Scott has few wins in the Truck Series
NASCAR Busts: David Gilliland
No. Gilliland was not a bust
Met him a couple of times back when raced Busch east
Nascar championship seasons: Travis Kvapil 2003 trucks
Well that exculated very quickly, I thought he would slowly wither away but nah
Do you ever plan on making an Indycar Busts series? I mean, you've done Indycar videos in the past, so...
Do Matheus leist
Milka duno
We’re still waiting for a collab with Land about Hornish being a Cup Series bust
Leist though was in the worst car on the grid and he still got a few good finishes like a podium at the Indy GP/RC in 2019.
Tristian Vautier would be one on my list
Me: trying to pay attention
Also me: HOOOOOLD DOOOWN, WHY CAN'T I JUST BE THE ONE THAT CARRIES ALL OF YOOU??
I WENT TO SLEEP LAST NIGHT
LAST NIGHT
AND IT FEELS LIKE YOU'RE ALLLLLLLLLLLLLREADYYYYYYYYY THEEEEEEEEERE
It got real dark real quick
7:03 Sean got a phone call, on the other end an Italian man who looks like a store brand JJ Abrams said "Pronto Sean? S🅱️innalla" and then music from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure played
Yep, I recall hearing about the fact that he beat the HELL out of a guy and that somehow he's not in jail. HOW?!
I thought that guy sexually assaulted him. If so, he has every right to beat the shit outta him
@@isaiahmarker1175 It's up in the air if it actually happened, or Caisse was planning something out of desperation.
Sean Caisse: The guy who's ex wife left him for Brian Scott. oof
and Brian Scott actually won a race in the main three nascar series before
I never heard of him until now
Nascar Thunder 2004 soundtrack in the back 🔥🔥🔥
Can you make a new series where you talk about drivers that has a lot of potential but was underrated
Been a while since one of these
The good thing about Sean Caisse was that he was from Pelham, NH, which is next door to where I'm from.
You know he’s a bust when you’ve never heard of him
4:04 look at the leaderboard, is that Jamie McMurray in the 09 truck?
You’re correct. McMurray made his lone truck start of 2008 in the 09 for Jack Roush. That year the truck was shared between Travis Kvapil, Bobby East, and John Wes Townley (the team being sponsored by Zaxby’s).
A follow-up would be (now that he got himself offed) John Wes Townley, although he did win a race.
Don't think I didn't hear Fingertight-Guilt playing in the background there.
Edit: I say that, then I watch the rest of the video. Just . . . awful how all of that had to happen. I'd heard of the guy, but I didn't know anything about him. After hearing this, it just reminds me of the whole Rob Moroso incident, except I kinda sympathise with Caisse in this instance.
I almost forgot about this guy. Remember reading about his demise on the news.
I heard of him I forgot about it
as soon as the video started I recognized him and knew where this was going
That got dark real quick
When you hear the words crime and duck tape together you know something bad went down.
Atleast he can say he beat a cup champion, as long as he doesnt mention date and age it sounds great lol.
Championship Seasons Dale Earnhardt 1994
Good Seasons Jeff Gordon 1994
Bad Seasons Greg Sacks 1994
4:43 This isn't Pocono, Rick Allen.
I guess he was better in the lower series. Like Darrell Waltrip used to say. Stay in a series where you can win so you don't forget how.
A bust that I'm thinking of is Shane Huffman.
His ex wife actually went for a nascar bust who actually WON in one of the main theee nascar series and made the cup series before
I never heard of this guy
Song name at the start in the background pls??
Come on, let's go. NASCAR Busts: Christian Fittipaldi.
NASCAR bust: Loy Allen Jr
I guess equipment wasn't the only thing he was tearing up
Championship Seasons Jeff Gordon 1998
Good Seasons Bobby Labonte 1998
Bad Seasons Geoff Bodine 1998
Hey Darian, so I have an extended update on Sean. So currently, he runs a construction company that his father founded back in the 1980s. Looks to be doing good for himself.
Here’s the website for his company: www.caisseconstruction.com/
Dang he looks way different now. 1. He's bald 2. He's got some mean muscles
He deserved better :(
I don't know much about Sean Cassie. He was one the NASCAR drivers who was only famous is nascar nationwide series and that's all I can remember about him. But was a ok nascar driver in the 2000s
Good lord I forgot all about this dude!
Sounds like a real human being. Deserves to be forgotten.
NASCAR Busts is back!
