  • How to Enable Do Not Disturb While Driving
In iOS 12 you have the option to have Do Not Disturb turned on automatically, while you are driving. In this mode, your iPhone will behave similarly to regular Do Not Disturb. For instance, your notifications will be silences, and you will only receive calls from people you have previously specified. In addition, accessing any other iPhone features while driving, will be limited to reduce any distractions.
To enable it go to Settings - Do Not Disturb. Under Do Not Disturb While Driving tap on Activate and choose whether you want the iPhone to automatically enable the feature, to enable it only when you connect to car Bluetooth or activate only manually. We suggest you choose Automatically as this will work regardless of what car or motorcycle you have.
Now When driving, you won’t be able to access your phones regular features. To turn Do Not Disturb off, all you have to do is either swipe up or tap the home button, or force touch on the icon and then tap I Am Not Driving.
You can also manually enable Do Not Disturb from the control center.
Do you plan on using this feature while driving? Please let us know in comments.
