For all the effort the writters have put to make us all believe how Brenda and Dylan were so meant to be, it 's a failure. Both of them kept arguying all the time . If i was with a friend pretending to be SO in love with her man and witnessed the scene as a friend i would have done the same thing . I as said i don't blame Brenda, she's young but still this is far from being the Big Love Story the soap wanted to create. Joke.
@@leayahia8880 I think it’s only “the big love story” because Shannen/Brenda left the show and it created a lack of closure with their relationship (no matter what the writers “told” the audience about Brenda later on). So it’s like this cliffhanger that never got resolved. It’s pretty stupid too, because they were both immature and to some degree toxic with each other, and after Dylan hooked up with Kelly, Brenda would be a fool to get back with him. Had Shannen stayed on the show, the Brenda Dylan thing could easily have become boring for the audience and fast. Similar dynamic happened on Charmed. Shannen was great as Prue but I’m not sure the show would have lasted as long as it did with her in the role.

Even before, when Brenda went to Paris with Donna, he and Kelly told her : "this was just a fling" it was not, it was more. Dylan was less repressed that summer. In some way Kelly has been good for him cuz she was that carefree girl he needed. So i that "BIG Brenda and Dylan's love story thingy" never cut any ice with me.
