Whenever I watch your videos, I want to leave my house, right then, and start looking for the items you talk about. Thank you so much for all the research videos. Some suggestions for research videos: planters, steins (because I literally know nothing about steins, but will see them when shopping), carved birds.

Funny that you said this : I too get "the bug" after some videos to hunt down specific stuff : then I NEVER see the stuff they're speaking of, out in the wild. LOL. Auction Professor did a clip on restaurant coffee mugs from White Castle and other 1950s hamburger shops . I KNOW that I have seen these MANY times over the years, and passed them by . So with eagle-eyes and determination I have been LOOKING for them over the past year and only uncovered ONE low-value one from a bus station coffee shop .

A type of glass tumbler that’s always on my BOLO list is Gay Fad. While it usually sells for less than $100.00, there are some that have gone higher. A recent example is a Kentucky Derby set of 6 that sold on eBay for $162.50. Gay Fad was printed on glass blanks from various companies, most commonly Federal and Anchor Hocking. If you’re into whimsical MCM glassware, you’ll love Gay Fad!

I love these sessions about high ticket items! I would really like them even more if they included the original selling price and year first sold. I have looked them up myself on certain interest ones - McKenzie Childs for one - have been more and less impressed by the item after seeing that info. I mean, a plastic tumbler that originally sold for 9.95 five years ago and now goes for 495.00 at auction is a lot more impressive than a set of 4 tumblers that sold for 169.00 each glass and now go for 500.00 for four at auction. Of course I am going to pick up any I can afford if I can get a profitable resale price😄!

    Hello,
I just want to Thank you so much for your videos.
I have wanted to do this business for 2-3 years now. The bug is getting to me. However, I have another deal that includes traveling the United States. Really want to that before I am too old to enjoy traveling!!
I am thinking of while I travel, to look for merchandise. Maybe dabble a little while on the road. I could start getting items for later sales when I am done.
Don’t think the bug is going to go away!! Only reason I haven’t done anything is fixed income and 3 years of unlucky health issues!!
I do appreciate your videos so much. Thank you!! It gets me worked up and dreaming of what I will do. Mostly while I am waiting for all my cards to a-line you are giving me an education!!!
    So grateful…

Story Time... I had those William Sonoma Harvest Market glasses, wedding gift years ago. Got divorced. Donated. Not a reseller at the time. Talk about a face palm! Thanks so much for the research, love all your hard work and great info.

I love your videos! It would be neat to see you do a video on silverware sets. I just sold a set of oneida chandelier set for $330. I didn't know silverware can be worth so much!
