Hello Tomo-san! I can really see how John Mayer really learned a lot from you just by hearing your improv style. He's also doing a lot of your stuff in his solos. Amazing what a teacher can do.
I’m learning but more importantly I’m listening intimately to those triad inversions thanks to you. I can shred all day but now I’m thinking an EVERYTHING is sounding better.

today I did my acoustic guitar practice exercises of 20 minutes while watching this video with the sound off. my theory was that watching your joy, body language, facial expressions and masterful hands would still be helpful without hearing. and guess what - it totally was! thank you
Thank you Tomo for these repeated triad lessons. I can not apply this yet but I understand that triads mixed with the pentatonic scale licks are important for improvisation. 🎸🎵
Dear Mr Fujita, great Video! I really learned a lot from this lesson, this took my playing from ordinary to extraordinary :) With your wisdom everything sound so tastefull and emotional. Great work, keep on going and you will reach 1 million subs for sure :D Kindest Regards
Just recently subscribed to your channel and I think your content is great! Thank you! Funny thing- there was an ad for State Farm Insurance right at the 5 minute mark. The commercial opens with a Major 7th triad being played that fit in perfectly with what you were doing at that moment.
Of course all RUclipsrs want more subscribers. It’s called “money”. We get it. Everyone knows how it works. I am subscribed and love the content. Great stuff!
Hey Tomo, long time subscriber here. Not the most knowledgeable about RUclips and being successful on here but maybe having a recurring series every week will help people subscribe? Like a series like lemmo does straturdays or wacky wednesdays and people subscribe to see the series progress every week. Maybe you could do triad tuesdays or something lol .Just an idea. I appreciate any video you make tho.
I'm definitively subscribing to your Guitar Wisdom once I'm done with my exams and I start my summer break, which starts next week thankfully!! In the meantime, thank you for rolling out these types of videos, they are so helpful! 藤田朋さん、ありがとうございました !

Problems for me are wondering what just happened?how did I do that? Why did that feel different? something I may have just played that was free and pure or worse remembering and just regurgitating it back out. Help! Noho ora mai.
Most people don’t want to go as far as you take it bro. There’s the problem in the number of followers standpoint. There’s a lot going on in peoples lives also at this time so continue being patient. Trust me dude, if I love you God must adore the hell out of ya because I’m nobody.
been practice triad since I've found your channel. Trying to play as many major scale as I can to make me happy... Or just buy a new pedal!!! Should I get a normal Jan Ray ? If I wanna have a big headroom drive pedal...
Not only is this a great lesson about triad inversions but also a reminder to use all your octaves when soloing rather then staying too long in just one octave.
This seemed a bit all over the place at first, then I had one of those 'holy shit' moments, and realised that I had just learned something important. Ta.
Tomo could you perhaps do a video on chords out of the standard 7 chords of a key. like where do chords like minor add 9 or major 7#5 ect come from and where could I use them. I sometimes see players play all sorts of funky beautiful chords, but I see they would play like a E7#9 and then a Esus4/9 a few chords later and I'll just be lost. I'm also referring to less complicated chords like minor 6 or add chords. love the videos keep them coming :)
…that’s a great request that might take more than a short video could show you..E7#9 and the Esus are usually turn around chords in a chord progression, possibly key of A minor also A major sometimes, you could add what are called color or tension notes to the A minor, B for add 9 and this key, D for 11 for a sus kind of sound..stay safe and stay strong..New York May 16, 2022..
@@TomoFujitaMusic …yeah!..greetings Berklee brother Tomo..you hit one of those types of chords right away in your KYOTO video, a half step down from the major7 chord, to a sweet 7#9 voicing..a great example of the where it can be used..stay safe and stay strong..New York May 16, 2022..
お疲れ様 Tomo-sensei 本当にありがとうございました。! Firstly i think you deserve 2 million subscribers!! at least. :-) Secondly: maybe it would be good to make a simple, short announcement as you start every new video (or after playing a bit and introducing the subject of the lesson, maybe?) like a "housekeeping" announcement which some content creators call it: Hello everyone, if you like my content, please hit the 'Like' button, and consider subscribing to my channel, if you hit the bell notification that will alert you to all my new content. This will help me in creating a lot more exciting and fun content for you in the future. Thank you I really appreciate it." That type of thing. Again: Thank you for all you do, i am a terrible guitar player but I am learning and getting better because of you. Your love and enthusiasm for the instrument is infectious.

I like your videos, but the angle of your camera means it is very difficult/impossible to see clearly what your finger postions are. This video is particularly bad because you have your legs crossed, so the guitar neck is seen from a side angle...we see the side of your hand not your fingers. This might not be too much of a problem for experienced players who understand what you are doing, but not everyone can do that.
