I first watched this at 16 years old before I had my drivers license. Started street driving my own 86 to drift events in 2011 and continue to do so today. Without your work (proof of concept) this would have seemed impossible. Important work!

Was a part of what influenced me to go to Ebisu myself between 2012 and 2016. Great memories, wish I got over there sooner so I could have experienced this era though!

There’s still some that are cheap. But not the ones that everyone likes, the S13-15, AE86, RX-7, Eunos, S2000, even an FF Civic EG/EK is ridiculously expensive. The reason the EP civic isn’t as expensive (despite being very similar) is because it wasn’t in the anime initial D or the cheesy fast and furious movies. Then the cars that are not as popular: Z32, Copen, Altezza, RX8, NC roadster, 2000-2007 MR2, GT86 etc… they are significantly cheaper and easier to work with, because they aren’t always totally thrashed and abused when you buy them.
@@benmarley3086 the altezza is the is300 in the US (if you didn’t know), and those are now also expensive or thrashed to hell and back so even those aren’t a good option here. The best rwd chassis is the US are like, 90s and early 00s bmws
