Someone that everyone is sleeping on is Noni Madueke. Having consistent minutes in pre season, the system suits him and his non-penalty output has been the best in Chelsea’s squad so far. Scored and played the full 90 against Real Madrid and scored the game before too. With everyone focused on Palmer and Nkunku, Madueke could easily grab 10+ goals and/or assists and reach 150+ points this season; for a 6.5m midfielder this is a great return. I guess time will tell how nailed he is but it’s definitely someone to watch for the first few game weeks as Chelsea have great opening fixtures.

Not wanting to spoil my team reveal but Hall is in my team. He’s there as he’s more of a natural left back than any other player at the club. He’s played good minutes in pre season. He does cut into midfield and he’s a good player who is very popular with the Newcastle supporters from what I’ve seen. He will most likely start and at 4.5m and with a home fixture against Southampton to start he’s not only in my squad but he’s in my picked team at this stage.
A nice idea for a video style like this for your more data driven viewers, would be to look at the top projected point options in a chart like this. Because theirs a lot of players who are projected points above or below their price tag.
with kamada I think its important to note that he was positionally not as advanced with lazio as he was for frankfurt. He will play a similar role for palace as he did for frankfurt (we know this because glasner was frankfurt manager and is now palace manager). For lazio he may have had .27 xGI per 90, but with frankfurt it was closer to 0.4-0.5 on average over his 4 years there.
As an Evertonian it’s worth mentioning DCL doesn’t often play more than 60 mins and will probably be rotated if 3 games in a week. I hope he smashes it obviously but won’t be selecting him

Think Mateta is being massively overlooked. He had a preseason break when the euros was on, then he spent his preseason being coached by Thierry Henry, and will be back with Palace 5 days before the season starts. Insane form under glasner last year, continues that form with France at the olympics and he’s being completely overlooked for a great fixture run because people are a little bit worried he might not start what, 1 game?
I said to Oscar (yesterday, he obviously read it ha) that Mateta has well in the 2nd half of the season and Olise is irreplaceable, so we have Kamada/Sarr (Sarr is a no.10/Forward signing) but what is a better pre-season than a pre-season at the Olympics. If Geuhi goes, he is a replaceable but excellent CB. We have spent 15m on Sarr so have £85m in the bank (including the Sarr purchase and Chelsea's 20% sell on fee for the profit on Geuhi which is 45-50m) Liverpool may yet enter the race. We have people lined up but Palace are very good at keeping their targets secret until the last minute). Nasa is a favourite. We shall see. Kamada can play 8 or 10, but has been excellent ain preseason, and we beat Wolves and West Ham in pre season, because of one thing. Fitness. We just looked much better than them fitness wise and was already pressing hard. Henderson is a great keeper, and no.1 as SJ has been injured over the summer, so it is Munoz or Hendo for me, and Eze. The only player who has returned and isn't match fir, is a Euros squad player in Wharton, who will be. Franca has been injured and fully expect another CB, Wing back and another no.10, not a forward as Mateta , Edouard and Sarr can play CF, and make JRS less likely to start and go out on loan.
I think it's not right to say that Mee has reliability of minutes; he's more likely to be on the bench this season due to his age and lack of pace. Love the video ❤

About Harvey Elliott: Under Klopp he NEVER played where he's best, which is as a 10, he was usually played as a right sided 8, and that just isn't his natural position. He's far better closer to the goal. If he gets regular starts under Slot as a 10, he's insane value and his output should skyrocket - last season's stats are near irrelevant for him actually. Whoever usually starts there out of him and Szoboszlai is anyone's guess right now though.

I haven't heard any dialogue and he's a consistent xG outperformer who has a full pre-season under his belt and will likely start (?) for one of the best attacks in the league with great fixtures. Regarding Kamada, did you only look at his stats last season? Because he was playing a much deeper role there than he did _under Glasner_ in the Bundesliga where he got many more attacking returns and played more advanced.
I think Udogie is a better £5m defender than Munoz. I do rate Munoz but I think Spurs have better players that he's more likely to assist/score and Ven der Wen + Romero is a better than Palace's CBs, esp if they lose Guehi. I also rate Davis but I think Ipswich will leak goals and if they get hammered then it could be negative points. The plus is he is a set piece taker so could get lots of assists but I think Ipswich will struggle (EPL is much harder than the Championship) that personally, I wouldn't pick ANY relegation team defenders. As a Newcastle fan, Hall is a great shout, I have him as a rotation option but he could well get a few assists and with Pope +/- new CB, we could be back to 2022/23 defence levels which could mean a lot of points. I would definitely take him over Burn who a lot of users have chosen. For Striker, I think Fullkrug is an excellent option at £7m. He's experienced, a natural finisher and has a great penalty record 28/30. Yes West Ham have some tricky games but I would take him over Jota/Nunez as both are 0.5m more but you don't know which one will start.

MacAllister will be playing in the double pivot a bit further back, fairly sure of it. He's going to be crucial for the buildup play. So more often than not it's going to be Elliott or Szobo in the 10 (and either of them can also be utilized as the right forward when needed as well).

I'm new to FPL and not sure how things change after gw1 in terms of prices. Let's say you spend your 100m and player prices go up, do you then have to sell someone to balance the books? Therefore isit wise to save .5 to 1m?
You bank 0.1m for every 0.2m a player increases by. So a 5m player that increases to 6m over the season you have 0.5m extra. Some squad values can be 110m+ if you land the right squad.

Brentford supporter here. Ben Mee is NOT nailed. He was slowing down last season and will probably only be third or fourth choice. Pinnock and Collins are both ahead of him, possibly even Ajer too. Pinnock is the one to go for.
