Man your vids about Silent Hill 4 are far more accurate than the wikia. You should edit it, also this helps to end some myths like the famous Cynthia candle myth, and give more info on strategies to enjoy this underappreciated gem.
You mean the Eileen candle glitch? Also I can't edit the wiki, but a lot of the information there seems outdated so I suspect that those who can edit it are inactive (or accurate information is just that obscure.) Something the wikia says that's wrong is "if [Henry] ceases to walk for a few moments (especially if he is breathing heavily), she may inquire, 'Are you okay?'" But that's just something she'll ask after about 10 minutes in Building World, and she'll only ever say it one time. I also wish the wiki mentioned that all the possession the unlimited submachine gun does to her is harmless and completely reversible (just unequip it and her possession from it will go away).
So glad to have seen this. I can’t imagine even 1% of those who have played this masterpiece know about dealing with the ‘victims’ in this fashion. The franchise that just keeps on giving. Bravo to you for this exposé, I’m looking forward to digging out the old hardware and giving this a go.
It's been years since I've played SH4, but I never really knew the quirks behind downing a ghost with the holy candle or saint's medallion nor that they had a soft 'death' state from making them cry out. Really interesting analysis on them!
Amazing! I need to play this again. I beat it on Hard Mode right off the bat without these methods in the Otherworld, as I didn't know better. I believe I mostly just had these tougher ghosts pinned down until I had explored "everything". Then, I removed the swords and just ran. But I can't remember if I always removed the swords. Probably not, because I didn't know where the worlds would end. Even so, I LOVED them, unlike others who quit because of them!?
Eres un fiera💪🏻🔥 your play through of SH4 was a pleasure, and the most detailed one out of other ones I've watched too. I hope you keep it up, maybe try other formats (with more humour, or whatever idk..) bc you really have a unique voice and style (like analytical you know). Whatever, thanks a lot for your videos. Silver bullets have the same effect as saint medallions and holy candles, except its effect takes place immediately. They're so rare, niche, and straightforward that I didn't think mentioning them in these videos was worth it (they're pretty self-explanatory and most players already know how they work). I think knowing how to get by without them is ultimately more useful. Never use one on Walter, it does the same damage as one regular bullet. Only use them on Andrew and Richard.
I went over Cynthia and Andrew in this video. All the other ghosts are easy and self-explanatory. I just went over the 4 toughest ghosts because if you know how to deal with them, then you know how to deal with every ghost.

I love this game, but the ghosts makes me want to drop it entirely. It's clear the ghosts were either not tested by the devs, or they tested them using silver bullest and saint medallions only. What i'm trying to say here is that without any of those, you're essentially screwed yourself over, they're a fu***** pain in the butt to deal with. I don't know who the hell thought Henry getting a massive headache while standing near them is a *FUN* game mechanic >.> (It doesn't help that DeSalvo's headace AOE is as gigantic as his belly either)
The "devs not testing Holy Candles" thing might be partially true. Holy Candles unfortunately don't stack with Saint Medallions, so you're effectively wasting Holy Candles if you use them at the same time as a Saint Medallion. Seems like an oversight to me.

Richard is the toughest one among all the ghosts, fades and pops up and continously hitting , even when he was a man he was strong and vigilant

Who is the most troublesome ghost who always gets a sword in your playthroughs? Cynthia, Jasper?
Cynthia is the only ghost I consistently pin, so I suppose she would be the most troublesome even though I don't have trouble with her.

Andrew's boss ghost is much harder to deal with.
I cant beat Andrew i shot all what i have he never goes down .... is there a bug?
I wouldn't recommend using regular bullets on him. Either use the Rusty Axe with a saint medallion or a Silver Bullet.

You cannot make ghosts cry just by hitting them; you can only make them cry with holy candles or saint medallions.

I wouldn't call that a "cutscene" but it is definitely one of the cooler hauntings in the game.
