Good video. The commentary was a bit distracting instead of being complementary but still did a great job of giving insight. Just a minor issue I can live with.

    Ghana 🇬🇭 can't still be building roads with open gutters. It's 2023 , 21st century let's grow

That’s the first step in covered gutters. Thats why one side is higher than the other. These ones will be covered

      It's a wonder
What's stopping the President from enshrining into law the eradication of open gutters.
All it'll take is the political will.

I see only foreign products sold here, can Melcom sell locally produced goods or products to help boost Ghana economy? Wholesalers can you build a similar store and sell only local manufactured goods?

This its why it is written my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because thou has rejected knowledge. Because anyone who understands simple mathematics and GDP have been can easily understand common benefits for your country. If ur people make items and sell it in country then the country imports less and what does that mean more jobs for local people more savings for the government. 2) In terms of importing these items what are the benefits dont u read cant ur eyes see most of these products are laced with chemicals that cause cancer and other illness that we are short of in ghana because we do not use chemicals in our own food. It is people with short vision and no understanding who cannot gasp logic. A word to the wise is sufficient.

I am surprised supermarkets are still opening such big shops, that was the trend around 2010 but it failed because too much space was being used up for displaying goods that are not fast moving. Losses are incurred due to high costs of maintenance and obsolescence.
The main cash cows for supermarkets is consumables which people buy daily rather than furniture and appliances that people only buy once and use for many years

Convenience is certainly appreciated. Malls are dying in the U.S. but flourishing in the developing world. I fear Ghana is fast becoming like the west. There may be a time when it's uniqueness will fade, and it will look too much like the west.

Yes, it will be very sad when we stop seeing people defecating on the beaches, seas that look more like plastic bags than water, roads that don't have hundreds of potholes, streets with open gutters, etc, etc. Yes it will be a sad day when all these goodies disappear.
