- Las Vegas Raiders Are About To Make A Great Move. The Raiders are starting to see the writing on the wall in only the 5th game of this NFL season that they are not likely a playoff caliber team. However that doesn't mean that they can't still make a couple of great decisions that will help them in the future.

There is only ONE issue. And that’s Minshew.
We start AOC and everything will change.
DEFENSE: Our defense will get more rest on the sidelines because AOC is better with third down conversions and keeping the offense on the field.
RUN GAME: Our runners will have an open field because of the threat of a deep ball that AOC brings to the table. Right now they can stack the box and stop our run game because they know Minshews arm isn’t a threat.
OC: Getsy play calling isn’t a major issue. The execution of the plays are the issue. And you can see that because when AOC is on the field the play calling looks different. Only because AOC executes differently.
AP: AOC is half of the reason that AP even got the coaching job. Most great coaches had that one qb that helped them out at some point in their career and AOC is that for AP but AP got out voted and they started Minshew.
Again, all we have to do is start AOC and we will start winning games over time.
He just needs time on the field to get the team in that same type of rhythm that he had us in at the end of last year.
Mark my words. AOC will be a game changer over time.
Someone that actually gets all the variables.

AOC should have been the starter from the beginning so he could get 1st team reps.

Make Minshew 3rd string, and AOC the starter, with Carter Bradley as back up. Why not?
Spot on analysis. With how bad we are this season, we can definitely be dangerous next season once we get rid of Adams’ contract. We can get a rookie QB and sit him behind a vet for a year, build through one or two more seasons and really make a push to be competitive.
Everyone needs to relax we haven’t even played a division home game yet, no other teams are running away with wildcard playoff spots so we’re still tied at this point. We’re not playing great but nobody wins anything in sept

I’m a lifelong raider fan I’ve been watching since a kid in the 70s. These Raiders celebrate every chance they get. Smoking cigars with all the tattoos and the big talk but they haven’t won anything in decades. It’s like a player that celebrates a touchdown when their team is losing by 30 points. These guys are ridiculous. They are a joke from the coaching all the way down to the players, they are making a mockery of a once proud organization. Whatever happened to players like Walter Payton who act like they’ve done it before and simply hand the ball back to the referee. Today’s NFL players have to celebrate after every first down like they’re gods gift to the sport with all their gold chains and sports cars. It’s repulsive.

Getting Bagent would be a smart move he's athletic, smart, and has a good arm. But I think Minshew deserves a few more starts, he looked good until the pic 6 then JM dropped the ball and it went kaput.

Minshew is a disaster, and people who can't admit they were wrong about him are saying it's Getsy's fault that he throws stupid picks and can't move the offense. All we need is O'Connell because three or four touchdowns a game will make us win because of our stout defense. The only team that Minshew can beat with his arm is the Raiders. The defense won our two wins, not Minshew.
