Got mine today. Cool looking indeed. Starting testing the accuracy. The strap seems very sturdy....but most certainly not leather. Once again thks for your honest review. You're a great Panda 🐼
For anyone wondering, its stated water resistance is 20 ATM/200m. As usually with Aliexpress watches, you really need to take that with a grain of salt, but I think you are absolutely safe to take it swimming and snorkling with no problems :) Just check the crown first so it's tight enough
Thanks for the heads up! I agree with taking what the sellers on Aliexpress say, though the case does have a thread crown so that provides a big of comfort. Honestly though I doubt I'd even jump in a pool with this watch.
I think JOMW did a water resistance experiment on some Chinese watches and most passed his test. While it probably isn’t 200m exact the build of the watch looks sturdy enough to handle swimming and other lighter water sports
@@georgecostanza2157 You are absolutely right. I own two 200m watches and all of them are fine with swimming, snorkling and jumping into the water. I took casebacks and crown apart and they have proper seals. I guess they are cheap but can handle water without problems :)
What is that gorgeous watch at 12:00 and where can I get one? It looks just like a WW2 Luftwaffe watch that I saw in a video a long time ago and fell in love with but the originals are insanely rare and expensive while the clones I looked at were all garbage. It sounded like you said it was a "Scantman" but I can't find it googling around
I definitely also want a date complication in any watch I get these days. I have some without it, and it really bothers me when I'm wearing them. Having a day complication is nice at times, but not a necessity.
I need something to take over as a day to day beater that'll survive snorkeling, lake activities etc. My tissot pr50 titanium has done this for 15 years but stoped a few times after snorkeling recently. Seems ok now but I am risking it. This was for sale at aliexpress for $77 Canadian on a NATO strap. 57 American. Seems best value watch on the market. Will see when it arrives. I prefer the addiesdive branding, face, crown and back.
@TheChirpyPanda flieger should not have writings, but the Roler AirKing has both the make and the name of the watch on the dial. Same for the IWC Saint Exupery Utc Edition. A thought?
I think this could be worn as a flieger or a field watch with it's simple utilitarian design. Great review by the way. After watching your intial review and then your 3 week review I was convinced to add this one to my collection as well. It takes a bit of shopping but these nice little watches can be found fairly common at around $80 USD. Also after watching both videos I was convinced to pick on up with a nato strap instead of the leather.
Hey there! Wanted to ask if you think the lug to lug is a bit too long. I have smaller wrists as well and am planning to get the version with a stainless steel bracelet. Do you think it'd be a good fit?
Lug to lug is definitely not too big for me, I have 6 1/4 inch wrist which by all standards is tiny, so unless your wrist is smaller than mine, i think you'll be fine!
Just today I premiere mine and I presume that cheaper than the INVICTA 'Diver', '300m.Diver' and the CARL VON ZEYTEN 'Black Forest', three NH35A, can be even better. By the moment works improving the aforementioned. A 'flieger - diver' well rounded.
I own this watch as well, agreed the strap is crap. My only con, the fact they didn't lume the second hand, You'd think because this IS a pilot that would be of importance. But meh all around what a great watch for a price. PS This watch is 200Meter 20ATM
Yeh sorry, been working with construction workers recently and they refer to "mm" as "mil" will need to start saying "mm" for clarity in future videos.
My apologies, I might have completely missed talking about it, from memory I think my one was about 8 seconds fast a day but don't quote me on this as it has been awhile since the review. I'd say it will be well within the tolerance of the NH35 movement which is -20/+40 per day.
Fair question I did not open it, nor would I actually have been able to 100% verify that it is a real NH35, it was more going off the sellers reputation as well as their description of the watch
Yeh, I should've went with the steel bracelet, it's always better to have that option as natos are super easy to source when compared to their steel counter parts (mainly due to end links not fitting properly).
My apologies, I should've definitely sent my watch back to their China warehouse test their warranty for this review. Not sure if I can recover from this failure. I will be better next time 💔
@@TheChirpyPanda i can see that you feel my comment was unwarranted. And you reply in a REALLY snarky way. Knowing what warranty is claimed by the manufacturer is all that online reviewers do. You didnt even know that. Check urban gentry....or just one more watch to see what an in depth review looks like. Meanwhile....maybe....take feedback in the comments and use them constructively....or if you dont want to do that....at least dont be such a jerk about it.
As I said, I will be better next time. Though my personal take away from this watch manufacturer is that I wouldn't bet on having any warranty other than perhaps faulty product on arrival protection from AliExpress.
@@TheChirpyPanda but...does it say there is a warranty? Thats what viewers expect to know after an in depth review. Good to know of the DOA bit....and sure...if you got a defective one it would be good to share a warranty experience...but thats rare. So....is there a written warranty? If so what does it cover...and how long is it?
Warranty info seems to be at the back of the manual instead of a separate warranty booklet. 24 months manufacturers warranty covering defects of material and workmanship existing at the time of delivery of watch. Only valid if stamped by official Addiesdive dealer, my one was not so in short, no warranty for my watch, will need to purchase directly from Addiesdive I believe as its unlikely there are many ADs of this small brand around.
I've got that watch for over a little of 2 years now. It still works as intended. The type A clean look makes it a little mysterious in a good way.

Thanks for the visit, you'll love the watch!
I bought the exact same watch with the Steeldive branding. £80, and stated 200m WR. Terrific buy 👍🏻
its my daily watch since a few months and is my favorite watch. i do have more expensive watches, but i prefer this piece. its amazing
I was worried 39mm would be to big as I prefer 38mm but this is now firmly on my buy list. Lug to lug is OK too. Nice review
Thanks for watching! For this watch 39mm is fine, however I prefer my watches smaller to, largely because my wrist are tiny lol.
Sadly most. Watches are 41mm and bigger. 38/39 is perfect size
This is a good looking watch for the price. Thanks for reviewing.

I bought this watch on sale for $65 on AliExpress that’s a steal of a watch as it is
Oh wow that is an absolute steal of a price! Thats almost just the cost of the parts.
Great buy. Would love this with Type B dial and on bracelet.

I like that "Flieger Diver" phrase!
bought 1 a week a go with a steel strap very pleased with it my everyday watch replaced my old invicta pro diver
I wish I bought this with a steel strap, I realised how much of a steel strap person I am after wearing a lot of natos and leather straps recently.
Where did you find the strap? Love the color combo but cant find it anywhere!
Nice review 😀👍
Thanks!
Do u know how much does the dial measures? Because this watch would be nice to mod.
I like it. 39mm is perfect for your wrist, they wear bigger because they have no bezel

What size band? Great video
20 mm
@@NicolaIIILombardi thanks 😊
Escapement Time and nothing else !! 😉
Lol, fair call, though the Escapement Time doesn't have a Type A variant, so really, why not have both?
@@TheChirpyPanda🤔 "ET" Flieger exist in Type A, Type B (as mine), with NH35A and now with .... ETA movement !!!
Can we be sure about Chinese use nh35 movement in it? Maybe they use some kind of Chinese movement in it?
The unit you used sounds like mil, which stands for milli-inch, people use this unit in old pcb designs. "mm" ir millimeter is better.
Yeh sorry, been working with construction workers recently and they refer to "mm" as "mil" will need to start saying "mm" for clarity in future videos.
Agree on the greenish numerals...white would have been better. No big issue...
100%, but guess this is like personal preference more than anything.
Most fliegers have green numerals, that or old radium, that includes laco
I just dig this greenish lume... 🥰

wish whoever makes would copy the panzera Timemaster 42S face and hand design
What is the diameter of the case back screw?
It has a stated 200m water resistants
Just ordered mine for $75.
Good choice, this is a cracking watch for the price.
how are you sure that the movement is a real seiko nh35 and not a cheap Chinese substitute. Do you open it to check?

WR 200M.

True, though no way to test for me and need to take what they say with a grain of salt
theres a steel bracelet version!! go for that instead
