    Good video . Thank you!
Wonder if you could use a silicone to keep the grommets in place and not fall into the bay? What’s the price on this intake?

That's an interesting idea to keep the grommets in place. IE just released this product today and announced pricing. performancebyie.com/collections/cold-air-intake-systems/products/ie-carbon-fiber-intake-system-for-audi-c8-rs6-rs7

Won't these two 2 holes you made from the bottom of the intake suck warm air from the engine?

We inquired to IE about those holes, but here's our take on it while we wait. The purpose of those holes is defined on their product page as being necessary to pull in additional air from the low pressure zone. This can be viewed a bit like how open intakes on other cars (like the S5) will draw warm air from the engine bay, but it really only does that when sitting still. With the position of this intake being so far forward in the engine bay I would be surprised if there was that much heat drawn in when sitting still In our personal experience from gathering intake air temps, even on an open intake the IAT is usually VERY close to ambient temperature while moving. And open intakes tend to get closer to ambient quicker than closed intakes due to not being limited in where the air is coming from.

You may be right, but the Eventuri intake does not have such holes on the underside of the filter.I've seen intake of other companies that don't make holes. I don't know why that is.

@@icomaniakov6339 Yeah, I totally understand. As with many of these products the design is a difference of opinion on what works best. We’ll let you know if we get any additional input from IE on their reasoning and addressing any concerns about heat being pulled in.

Does this fit on a sq8/?

    • @Vaguh

No, it’s a completely different setup. APR and Eventuri both have one coming for the SQ7 / SQ8, soon.

Nice that you are promoting IE now, but it's not even your car or project? I'm tending to unsub, the content is not improving for me. All the best!

I think it’s nice that he’s able to bring more content from other vehicles and not just the S5. Now he has RS6 content incoming and possibly more Audi models. Any Audi/VW content is amazing!
I think owners of other model cars would disagree with you.

We’re doing multiple builds on the channel. We have an RS5 build with 034 and my SQ7 build coming up. Our channel is about more then just S5 and Golf R cars, but we have more content coming for those as well. Hope you stick around.
