I'm swimming in shame. Sometimes, I know I am so traumatized that I did things and allowed things because of fear, and the abuse was overwhelming! I thought I was doing a good thing, but I ended up hurting myself horribly!
I'm really sorry you had to go through that experience. I want you to know that you have the strength to let go of any shame you're carrying whenever you're ready. I understand it's not easy, but doing so could open the door to more joy and peace in your life
