The Navaja is an awesome, timeless design. They are excellent camp knives. This is a fantastic addition to a historical collection. I'd love to see a modern version that had a wider grip.
@kennethking817 Yes, I did. Knives like the Texas toothpick, RR 204, and sabacc fall under a family of knives called clasp knives. They all have a banana shaped frame and look similar. If you look close at the frame of RR 204, it looks like a case 6165 that's not as wide with a laguiole head and a texas toothpick blade. Many people thought the Texas toothpick was copied from the Navaja. But it's very different. The laguiole, Navaja, 6561, and the RR 204 look similar because they share the same clasp style frame. All have different blades and slightly different frames.
Looks good and I like D2, also much blade showing above liners (pinch between finger and thumb to open .) BTW is your Gmail in small case I’m trying to learn how to send you some knife pics . Thanks

Its a great knife my dad bought one. I bought the Sowbelly instead.
Sowbelly is my favorite pattern. 😊
That's a really nice one! I almost got it this but went with the RRR small copperhead. Was a bit disappointing lol
Mine is bigger than yours. I understand 🤣😂🙃🤪
Not the size of the boat..... @@rasputinscastle
It should have been made a lock back like the RR 204 , That have the same shape and others online say the Sabscc has a very weak back spring .
Mine has a strong lock up. About four on the closing. It's just a great example of an old pattern. Maybe they'll put a lock on it later 🤔
Did you take a look at the RR204 and see the resemblance ?
