- Nov 3/4 2021 Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The clouds move aside in time for the full-sky show at 1:00 AM. Local time at bottom right. Purples, greens, reds, and even some blues. Captured on a Wyze Cam v3 security camera mounted on my roof.
Between midnight and 1:00 AM, there just a modest glow. You might be tempted to call it a night and go to bed. You'd be disappointed if you did.
Spectacular thank you Simon ..time lapse is fast forward magic!🌹
Excellent! Thanks for sharing.
VERY NICE...
Wow. So beautiful. I will have to come back when I have more time to watch and slow this clip down. Spent hours trying to see these is spokane, wa on October 30th. Then they showed up the following Wednesday and we missed it. 😥. Thank you for sharing this beautiful phenomenon!!
Yeah, it can be pretty hard to know when they will happen. I run a time-lapse on this security camera every night, just in case. If you go to my channel, I did publish an hour of this recording in real-time ruclips.net/video/iYtnsWPHdD8/видео.html
Pretty awesome and thank for sharing :)
So beautiful, I wish I can go the place one day, btw which month of this phenomenon always?
It can be any month, but there is more dark in winter so more likely then. You can go our many times without seeing anything. Predicting when you might see auroras is really difficult.
You have a great camera location, Simon. And you are making the most of it. Thanks!!!
Thanks Pat. They actually used a little slice of this on the local CBC News last night, with my permission.
thank you for sharing! what location? she's so pretty!
