- The video and images were all taken with my new Canon SX50. I was at terminal 4 near A28 shooting pictures and videos of the planes landing on two different days. All clips are handheld using the video feature. This camera has an impressive zoom.
Planes:
Boeing 757
Airbus A320
Airbus A319
Airbus A321 - Кино
Beautiful video and great camera canon.thanks for sharing
Love the first 757 landing :D
Vídeo espetacular!
Very enjoyable. My favorites were the planes lining up with the runway in the clouds (video) and the still with several planes on final. Keep it up!
Jamie Quite spectacular! You have an amazing talent there - I am definitely going to follow ALL your SX50 output. It's really good to see somebody YOU - and its rare, believe me - take the time to interpret the value of the optical zoom in a new way - not the same old Moon and distant building "it's so awesome" shots . . You've added that much needed "Other World" of the planes gracefulness and size . . . I'll shut up now, 'cos I want to watch your video again . . and again . . and again . . .
Very nice video. Liked the sunset part. You made me wish that I had bought the canon instead of the nikon. Keep up the good work!
Graham, thanks for your wonderful comments. As you seem to have been blown away at the video clips I've captured with this Canon SX50. The sunset scenes of those planes landing still has me taken back a bit. The only thing that I did not like was the settings that I had dialed in on manual exposure for the sunset changed as the planes approached the runway for landing. The camera changed its exposure. I'm okay with it happening, but its not what I was going for. Need to play around a bit more.
Edward so far its been a pretty powerful little camera. I'm sure the Nikon one is very good too. Remember this gadgets are just a tool. Always think about how you can do something different then what everyone else is doing. Be blessed
Nice ;)
"The camera changed its exposure." - Yes, yes it will. I've attempted to counter this by using a Variable ND. This has the effect of allowing me re-adjust exposure while capturing and LOCK.
On my YT Channel I've got some ND Variable test with and without a variable Polariser.
"The only thing that I did not like . . on manual exposure for the sunset changed as the planes approached the runway for landing." - Correct. I've been experimenting with some great results using a variable ND and Pola to adjust and LOCK exposure while capturing and keeping exposure while I pan-into a different exposure. What I've found in using the variable ND was to move the exposure way over to the RIGHT. Check out my YT channel.
Excellent quality! Which is the time you can record with this? I've read 20 minutes. It's true? Sorry my english.
Bye!
man awesome atmospheric effects!
Can't tell if its the plane or camera that's gliching out
