A closer look at the Orford Eban Parang, the Bushmuk and the Pixie. This was a commissioned set, made to the same specifications; matching timber handles and leather sheaths in our new English Pit tanned leather.

Beautiful craftsmanship on the knives and handles Ben, and Lois’s leatherwork is just so perfect, a joy to look at these knives and sheaths married so seamlessly together. Wow!

Well thanks Michael that is much appreciated and glad you enjoy seeing the fusion of mine and Lois’s skill set 👍
They look fantastic, too good to use.
Amazing work both of you.
We call it Iban Duku Candong...Ethnic Iban from Sarawak,Borneo....very practical...
Quality as always bro, I’d give my left knacker for those 3, I’m thinking about having a big clear out of my knives and getting a nice set, watch this space lol
Absolutely gorgeous work! It might be a good idea to pick up some of your work with the current exchange rate being so favorable.
Absolutely stunning pieces!! The buyer is very lucky indeed!!

Very Nice work Man ! Beautiful
Beautiful and practical.
Thanks a lot 👍
Really nice
I have a Nesmuk shape blade and love the look, but the tip doesn’t perform as well as a bushlore shape. I really like the way you remedied that.
Thanks that’s great, yes the thinned tip makes a big difference for performance.
Thanks for the input. cheers, Ben
Outstanding pieces of work Mr and Mrs Orford I really like your take on the Nessmuk would you be able to produce one of those with a full flat grind?
All the best to you and your family for Xmas and the new year
Master craftsman!
Thanks for the comment and glad you liked it
Awesome good knive
More beauties from Ben!
Question: Why such a deep plunge line on the knives? instead of a sharpening choil? I understand one could add one later, which I typically do. Is there a purpose for that particular design choice?
I'm seriously thinking about buying all 3 after the new year/christmas period. aslong as they not too expensive ofcourse. Some seriously good workmanship in these blades, and sheaths. Does anyone know how much at a rough guess all 3 would be?
Hi Jay, well i can quote you for them as a set or individually. Best thing is to drop me a email and we can give you a price break down as these had some extras like the Fire steel and the liners.
Look forward to hearing from you info@benandloisorford.com
Many thanks cheers, Ben
