Doki Doki SR is mostly from 1/3 Delusion (taobao brand). Taobao is kinda tricky to navigate for purchase esp for non-chinese/tw/sg/hk residents. Good thing that doki doki is a legit distributor for that brand so that us overseas customers can access to that HQ brand :D SSR is usually from Miaowu
I know I’m a year late but I’m extremely! new to cosplay and from what I’ve seen DokiDokiCos has the best reviews out of all the other ones I’ve seen! Yours and a lot of other peoples videos have made me more comfortable buying from them. I plan on buying from them soon I’m only worried about the waist the biggest size is a XL and the waist is 82cm when my waist is 88cm I would probably need a XXL but if it does take awhile to get here I can do exercises to help slim me down a bit more so I’m not too too worried.🙂

thank you for such a clean and straightforward review! I've been looking at this cos for a while and I was really curious about all the aspects. Do you think the pants are stretchy too? I was hoping to slightly size down/perfect size so I get that taut look. what do you think?
The waistband is REALLY stretchy for sure. The material they used for the shorts themselves is also pretty stretchy, so if you're going for form-fitting, it will surely do the trick! However, I'd be really cautious about sizing. Make sure to measure twice and order once! LOL measurements are pretty exact! I have to wear the Cheongsam incorrectly because the neck is just slightly too small! Hopefully this helps!

You're right, it's there as a warning, and isn't actually there as a shipping option! (They couldn't add additional information in that panel, so they utilized the payment section to let people know that it won't come in the 25 days!) . So, that being said, whatever option you choose will be the way they ship it once the item is actually in their hands. :)

It is a rather heavy material if I'm being honest, since HuTao is one of the more covered characters, she also has the most material. Since the SR version is both detailed and well-crafted, there is a fair amount of insulation in the costume due to the higher quality fabric, and the stitching. Not only that, but there is a hat, which also adds more heat to the head, and if you're pairing it with.a wig, it might get even more hot. It's not an *uncomfortable * cosplay, but if this were to be worn at a summer convention for long periods of time, I can see it being both heavy AND hot.
I just received mine today and I am 5’1 And weigh 129 Ibs I’m kind of small and I bought a large. The quality is nice and it looks perfect but The only few things I would have to say is to SiZE UP! Even though it was a large, the red shirt underneath barely even fits me 🤧 and I did struggle a bit to put it on. I’m glad that the jacket FITS!! 😭 but I did struggle a bit but it worked. The socks were pretty tight on me too, the pants almost didn’t fit but it did but it just doesn’t really have space but I’m glad that it’s stretchy!! 👀 The hat is a little loose on my head but I like that because it gives my head room to breath!! I love the hat!! ❤️ I wish I could have ordered an extra large but I guess that means it’s time for me to work out and lose some weight to fit cuz I’m too lazy to return it. 😂
I would say that the sizings on the charts they have are fairly accurate! The saying goes "measure twice, cut once" (In this case "order" once!) That being said, since asian-sizings tend to lean on the more slim side, if you're wanting to be very careful, I'd say that ordering up might not be a bad idea!
It depends less on the age, and more on the size. A good rule of thumb is to "measure twice, cut (buy) once". As these are considered "premium costumes", I would definitely recommend adhering to their measurement guidelines on their website. And when in doubt, order a size up! As a side note, shipping times are LONG. (Unless you're willing to pay the extra to get it quicker)
I ordered it, it came broken (sew some things again cuz they were broken) and one of the golden cones on the back was broken in half + not glued to the fit, wrong size and took 8 months to come Too expensive to send back and didn't have another 8 months for it
Oh no... I'm sorry to hear that! If it were me, I'd totally take pictures and send them to their Customer Service. I've heard that they try to help, though I haven't had to do it myself. :(
do you have a recommendation for a size for a 14 year old whos 4'11 and weighs 125 lbs. i really wanna ger a hu tao cosplay but I'm really strugging with choosing a sizs
Unfortunately, I can't offer much in the way of recommending based on height and weight. When it comes to these cosplay companies, they really rely on other body measurements. The best suggestion I can give is to look at their website's guidelines for measurements and take time to find what your specific ones are. And if you fall in between two measurements, go with the LARGER one. :)
idk if i missed this in the video but for the rings what size do they all come in? because i have an issue all the time with rings being way too big for me so the fact it can readjust is useless to me lmao
With the exception of the flat silver thumb ring (It's a size 10), all the other rings are adjustable so that you can make them both bigger and smaller, so they're not a "standard" size. They're definitely "fashion rings" and in all honesty, upon further reflection, aren't incredibly accurate. But even still, they still do a fine job of serving their purpose for the costume!
I chose the size "Large", because Asian sizes are different than standard sizing. As a rule of thumb, I always go with the manufacture's recommendations on their sizing! It's a little more trouble to get all the measurements for yourself, but in the end, if you're going to spend the money on it, it should definitely be something that fit! 💖
@@AiPop Honestly the reason why i always buy the largest size is bc i bought a large only 1 time and it was too small so i had to buy a new one so i couldnt refund the old one 😓 Ptobably had something to do with the fact that im from the Netherlands and im as tall as a 16-year-old tho
