After watching Age of Adaline, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and The Haunting of Hill House, I can’t help but notice that Michiel’s projects always have something to do with his love towards books. Which, makes me love him more the more I get to know him.
Blake to me is the most beautiful actress in history. I felt so connected to this movie for reasons I really can't explain. I've watched is about 20 times.
A very evocative film, and very well filmed. The work of all the actors is brilliant (especially Blake Lively and Harrison Ford). I have to admit that the story has touched me.
There is something so mysteriously compelling & hauntingly beautiful about the storyline of it. It is magnetizing, mesmerizing & mystical w/how it flows & the acting is so magical & realistic, especially the chemistry shared between Adaline & Ellis-I do NOT feel any other actors could’ve portrayed these characters any better than these 2-they were incredible together & each character had its own uniqueness & how they were acted out here, just phenomenal!!! I’ve been watching it repeatedly and/or just parts of it this past 2 weeks actually, because I’m so in love w/the *energy* of - it -for some very inexplicable reason…crazy, but cool!!!
This interview touched on the people and how they are not the actors but people in general…people in general who they are really full of experiences life and in a way they are like books of history
Blake has the intellect, classic beauty, and elegance of the actresses that defined the Golden Era of Hollywood Films such as Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Veronica Lake, and Bridgette Bardot.
I like Blake Lively. She's becoming an Amazingly Deep Actress. First time I saw her was in "The Town" & she was perfect. She is not just another pretty face, she is an Actress in the First Order. I'm looking forward to seeing her perform in the future. Can't wait to see "The Shallows" !
Yeeeee as Blake said, when people say they want to live in the 20s/30s/40s etc i hate it when people say that because you literally have no idea how shitty it was especially the shit that happened to People of color, the racism. But its fine if u say 20s/30s/40s aesthetic because u just wanna extract the fashion the music etc
They basically explained why in the end why I wouldn't want to live forever. I have a reason why I want to enjoy natural cycle of life and that's because of the people I love.
I want to know the title of the other movie she said she's doing. The one about the blind woman, it sounds interesting and with her talent, I'm sure it is.
I cannot think of anything worse than immortality. The point of live is that you only get one shot, no do overs, so that puts pressure on to get it right. I do not want to live a long life, I just want to live 'enough'.
I’m in love w/this man-ever since “The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society”-I’ve watched that so many times, just to drool over ‘Dawsey Adams’ LOLOL!!! 😱😊😍😃❤️🙏🌞❗️❗️
I mean if you look up Carice van Houten you will notice the big difference. Carice can only hide her Dutch accent somehow when she has a script..interviews are the real test because they do not know what to expect 😛
"Life is only precious because it ends, kid. Take it from a god. You mortals don't know how lucky you are." - Mars, Roman God of War (The Heroes of Olympus, Book 2: The Son of Neptune, page 363). "I'll tell you a secret. Something they don't teach you in your temple. The Gods envy us. They envy us because we're mortal, because any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again." - Achilles (Troy).
The talk about our incessant search for youth recalled to my mind the scriptures Ecclesiastes 3:11 "Everything he has made pretty in its time. Even time indefinite he has put in their heart, that mankind may never find out the work that the [true] God has made from the start to the finish." and in Job's book chap 33:25 "Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor." This only destiny of dying tragically, old/young and decrepit and going to heaven is an unsatisfying LIE! Only the few needed for the kingdom rule will and the hope of all else is perfect health and longevity on a pure earth. Rev 21:3-5
"How did you guys accomplish transmitting that to us, the audience?"?!? What kind of a question is that? They accomplished it by being trained, "accomplished," actors lol that's their JOB. (sorry) some of these people ask weird, obscure and ethereal questions that make the interview a cringe-fest to watch.
Good movie with interesting aspects - seeing how eternal life wouldnt be that amazing at all! But the ending come on - WAY too predictable ! That was my 1st exact throught on how it would end and that ruined a Lot!
joyrio1 Whether or not she has had work done, she does not seem to have overdone it. There is no appearance of artificiality. She was stunning in the movie. A majority of movie stars have had work done: Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez to name a few.
She is well spoken, eloquent, culturally and politically insightful, and overall stunning.

That’s true! I’ve yet to make my way through some of these but I adore these movies and like to revisit the storylines/meanings behind them.

Both Looks great Here. The movie was Truly a Masterpiece
Excellent acting Blake!!!! one of the most best acting roles ive ever seen
They look so well together!
She has that old style Hollywood glamour around the 40s and 50s era.
A very sweet film. Blake Lively was soooo good in this role. I think I need more films like this one.
God he’s so handsome😍😭😘
A very evocative film, and very well filmed. The work of all the actors is brilliant (especially Blake Lively and Harrison Ford). I have to admit that the story has touched me.
It touched and amazed...she saved her appearance looks younger than the woman with her real ages... but it's just movie
Beautiful people with beautiful minds.
i watched the movie yesterday and i have to say it's one of the best movies I've ever seen

they're both so cute and well spoken. Honestly they chose well for this movie.
Just watch "Age of Adaline" today.... love it!! Greeting from Malaysia.... 2022

Never ever heard of Bridgette Bardot ...
I'm in love with her outfit

Girls, get yourself a guy who'll look at you the way Michiel looks at Blake.

I love this movie❤
I love this Movie and look who's watching it in 2017 ME
I love the movie, it's not quite heavy and clearly very understandable for asian like me who try adopted English as second language.
I want to know the title of the other movie she said she's doing. The one about the blind woman, it sounds interesting and with her talent, I'm sure it is.

I agree with you.
Our Dutch star

Looking cute together..❤️
❤Womanhood enjoying family life is luxury
The actors clearly struggle to understand the interviewer.. You can almost feel it
midway through the intervieuw his accents slips and you can hear Dutch
Yeah kinda but he still has an american swoon on it 😛 You barely regonize it. For a Dutch person his american/english accent is flawless.
I mean if you look up Carice van Houten you will notice the big difference. Carice can only hide her Dutch accent somehow when she has a script..interviews are the real test because they do not know what to expect 😛
are you american or Dutch
ABC Warrior Dutch
Does Michiel have an accent to you Americans?? For me as a Dutchie he sounds really American, yet weirdly familiar haha

And the sound track behind the movie from the first moment was brilliant!
itsno1duh hello fellow brother...well said
She really looks like French Cecil Leblanc .
Daario is a good looking guy
If Mel Gibson had been 40 years younger, he should have been the love interest
"How did you guys accomplish transmitting that to us, the audience?"?!?
What kind of a question is that?
They accomplished it by being trained, "accomplished," actors lol that's their JOB.

At the end of "the good place" they run into a similar problem of now that yiu can live forever what's there to live for, aging is normal and healthy
I have a mole or beauty mark on the same spot she does
Alejandra Rivera oh you must look exactly like her!
+The Gman your comment made me lol!
Why did u do harrison ford like that thou? He was gonna propose , indiana was gonna propose !
sorry call me naive but i absolutely 100% would be okay with living forever theres no way i ever want to die
Cloo Lcoo I use to think like that but for personal reasons it's changed. Also they explained why in the end.
You might be tortured at Guantanamo Bay for 900 uninterruped consecutive years. Just saying.
Good movie with interesting aspects - seeing how eternal life wouldnt be that amazing at all!
But the ending come on - WAY too predictable ! That was my 1st exact throught on how it would end and that ruined a Lot!
je hoort gwn ze nederlands accent een beetje 😂
Nou en?
This movie was so lively. See what I did there? 😉
Wow👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Harrison was hunky the young son was too dweeb for me.
No hate on Blake.. She's incredibly talented but in this interview she's looking like his aunty
This film is unwatchable.
You have poor taste then!
She had plastic surgery chin implant she didn't have that when she was younger and she has so much Botox and fillers . Sad

Her face is her job, she has the money, and it brings her money. It made her prettier, I don't see the harm.
How do you know? She looks the same to me, just a bit older.

No she is not...I saw teenage picture she still the same only her teeth is fixed..don't get so much jealousy becoz she is pretty that much.
Beautiful movie 💘💘💘
