I might have seen Joseph live something like 40 times in Europe in the 2000's... I have dozens of taped gigs I kinda forgot with time... And comes today. Searching for some music for a nice evening with friends. Discovering this. I'm in love. Like in 2004. Thanks Jo.
If you care for recommendations, his first four albums are amazing almost in their entirety. My favorite album of his from the 2010s is Redemption City. All of his albums have really great moments on them but those five albums are all solid listens front to back. Enjoy!
Watching school house rock with my kids and came across the blind melon cut of "3 is a magic number". Then did a blind melon deep dive for about 3 days and found Joseph's podcast with Rogers and Christopher and watched that. Then I watched several more of his podcasts and now I'm here. I love this guys creativity. It's weird the way it happened, but I'm so glad it did. Stoked to find a new artist to explore and cant wait to hear more!
So stoked on this. How supportive is John, what a great host. This set is just so sick. Please tour Australia Joseph, please! Everything about you is admirable!
Man, it is so cool to see Joseph Arthur again !! Just LOVE his first two albums, i saw him on his first tour in Germany back in the '90s.. and I was stunned. His emotional, warm voice, wrapped in such amazing songs. Thank you for your music, Joseph - and KEXP for this amazing format! ❤️👍
Wish he wrote an album in a good mood. I’ve met him, been a fan for 18 years maybe. Killed it in sadness addict, wish he felt our gratitude and his heart blowed up from our admiration. Fall in love Joseph and write us your articulation of love upbeat!

School House Rock, into a 3-day Blind Melon deep-dive, into a podcast, into this video? Are we long-lost siblings?

Love Joseph Arthur. Immensely creative and inspirational with all his reinventions and new directions. Fantastic new album.
Joe’s positive mindset is contagious. I love how he interviews the host.
His podcast is outstanding, expected his music to be the same...was not disappointed in the least!
Absolutely in love with this and the good spirit they're both in ♥♥♥

"The gravity of your being". Sounds like a great title for a new song, Joe!
Live sounds much better than record!
Joseph is the truth ❤️
"We'll just edit this later" LOL
Hoping for more RNDM in the near future.
I’m a loop artist, well I use a loop pedal, and I do what he does at the end all the time
cool
I love the music, but it's the man's integrity during these tyrannical times that brought me here ❤
He's an anti Vaxer
Nice, welcome to the cool side of youtube!
Here after watching Mark Lanegan on his podcast.
Can't wait to see solo Joe again
He described Mark Lanegan as intimidating while wearing a blood splatter patterned jacket.
i saw roses , peonies and poppies , against a whitewashed garden wall
Please invite Dope Lemon.
Hell yeah
If Trent Reznor played Americana Folk music.
Omg accurate lol
My guess is they never hooked up to do that marathon LOL
Does anyone know the vocal effects unit that he is using?
Boss RC-300 looper he's using has vocal effects so maybe he runs vocal through it as well
Buy “Comeback World Album “ it’s ace
Would be nice to see Boris Grebenshchikov on KEXP )
John "Fuzz" Wick
reminds me John Frusciante a lot
J Mascis more so in the voice at least. And the licks some too
Sounds like J Mascis.
the first song was kinda out of rythm :D
He's great but man did covid ruin his brain. Some hust couldnt handle that time period too well. Lol
