who needs ZoukOut when BenRanAway drops a 20-minute video! 😂 also i’ve never step into a value dollar shop before but after this video i feel like i would actually shop for all my snacks there now!!!
Usually valuedollar shop most of their items are never near the expiry dates. Only a very small proportion will be near expiry and those will be at huge discounts (60-90% off original price from the already cheap price) and are usually placed near the entrance/outside the shop itself as they need to be prominent so they can be cleared asap.
10:20 Ben: And the stick is like very smol ,🙂 very tiny Ran: Ohh.. 🥹🙃😏 like yours ah? 🥴😜 Ben: 😒Ehhhh Rach : 🤐oh my god...🤭 Also 12:28 Ran: Oh my goshies... 🥺
As someone who worked in supermarket before, when the items are near expiry date either its voided out of system and given out to employees or its marked down and stated in big bold letters "near expiry date" on special shelves. But there is chances when the person in charge of replenishing stock failed to see certain items are expiring.
The pricing varies in different stores. Bought London Bear Vanilla & Rubio Honey Mustard price at $2.50 each from Tiong Bahru Value Shop instead of $1.95 at Lucky Plaza.
ohhhhh rachel touched on what i always initially thought.. i asked in another video on yt valu$ video about why these are so cheap? i always thought they are so cheap cuz they are near expiration date... some singaporean told me cuz they are imported from malaysia thats why they are so cheap.. example like the snickers bars n what not... i guessing its a combination of the expiry date/malaysian products? thanks rachel to clarify what i always thought!
I noticed the Haus Boom drink had Malay words on it so I googled and it's actually a Malaysian product, not Myanmar although I've never seen it in Malaysia. I googled the Cube Wafer and can't find it in Malaysia although you said it's made in Malaysia. But very interesting video. Why the weird price differences between the shops?
Hi, food products made in Malaysia may not be distributed in Malaysia. It may just be cheaper to mass produce in Malaysia and export to the intended country for distribution.
Y'all should go to Jurong Point value $. They have a wide range of chocolates & it's always very crowded. Btw, I've ever heard anyone say "oh my goshies" 😂
