Runs absolutely awesome dude. I’d rich the high needle a hour or so myself. If you want the idle to come back and gets its normal tuning back the best thing to do for that is double check there’s no air leaks and the biggie Change out the motor bearings before there’s a failure and the engine will most of the time bed in for a good long life.
Yeah I was having the same problem with my traxxas slayer pro 4x4 nitro with the idle screw I will give it a try with mine and let you know how I get on thanks for sharing big like from me bud 👌🇮🇪🤝
For the traxxas 3.3 it likes to use fuel, a lot of fuel, it is probably the worst fuel econmy of any other nitro. to lower the idle, you gotta richen the low needle, if you are using good fuel, richen it more, the way the idle screw is set in the carb, it cannot be fully adjusted to close, it'll leak around the screw and lean out the engine.
Haven't been able to figure that out. I have backed the idle screw all the way out and it still creeps. I just end up holding the brake if I need to idle in place.
One thing is to check your clutch that is located where the clutch bell pinion is. Take off the clutch bell & look at your clutch pads. Then, more importantly, make sure the spring that holds the clutch shoes together is still in good shape. I had the same problem. Then, if you want to slow your engine idle down, you can richin the low speed needle a hair. Then start messing with your idle screw.
Rev it after every tune in the air u open fuel and the engine still doesn’t get to the percentage u adjusted needs a little rev then hear it idle it needs air if too low rpm needs gas if revin up to calm it. it my full throttle in the air but in the ground might bog means ur too rich or lean if throttle too sensitive might mean ur running hot more air ! Just keep in mind if it runs away for a little sec after release of throttle means there is lots of fuel being added due to the remains percentage u added before closing throttle!
Yea mine rolls at idle, seems to be a common thing people complain about with this model. So me say richening the low speed throttle helps but I still have the issue.
I have never gotten it to stop rolling, I need to take that truck out again. I have seen some people say richening the low speed needle helps with the rolling. I need to test and see if it works.
Just picked one up and man this thing is a blast. Clocked in at 45 with 20%!
Yea they really rip, I am looking forward to warmer weather so I can take it out more often.

Seems like a great truck 👍

Thank you! I will definitely try this the next time out.
How did you fix the creeping issue at idle? I just got one of these.

I’d recommend richening the low speed as well
Be sure your linkages for your carb will let it close to the idle screw, I own the slash 3.3 when I bought mine the lineage was way off....
Hello, good day, what type of fuel does this rc use?
I am using VP racing fuel for rc cars 20% Nitro.
Idol creeping issue fixed???? And how did you fix it????

Does your like speed off when your not holding the trigger?

@@McDon_RC thank you yeah I just bought this and kits kinda like running pretty fast
@@alexistorres8825 oh yeah it's a ripper.
how did you stop the rolling
