Cause she don’t get frustrated she understand that love is something personal for everyone and that’s ok for her and instead she think about helping a friend she know and that’s really wholesome

So all of Alex and Steph's route, I just watched it on youtube and I gotta say. I find them very very very cute especially when they were playing LARP and Alex asked Steph to give them the sapphire in exchange for something far far more valuable. Her hand in marriage. And the way Steph became all bashful at that moment, oh man i could feel her melting. And then when they left the store, Alex opened the door for Ethan and then she winked? GIRL IM GAE IM SPEECHLESS my heart just UGHHH my heart cant take the gayness and cuteness. I love it
This scene was just random and i wanted to choose the yep option but accidentally pressed nope and then i had to replay the whole thing from the start and it took me 15 mins to do so😭

I like that even if you make her say "Nope", she says that she has MOSTLY dated guys before; implying that even if you choose the opposite gender, Alex herself is still bisexual. Love that for me! (I'll always see Alex as canonically bisexual tho no matter what, this basically confirms it imo haha)
Her past text threads and expression of attraction to _both_ Steph and Ryan throughout the game regardless of player choice are nice touches too. Not bi myself, but am tired of seeing the erasure. This was a nice change from the usual

Haven't got to this point yet when I play LiS I put myself in the characters shoes and answer or choose what I would do or say personally so as a straight man I'm definitely into girls lol and have always chosen to pursue relationships in the farewell episode I always sided with Chloe and went super mushy as I think even back then they loved eachother even if they didn't know exactly what love was I know when I was 13 /14 i didn't know what love was but I was starting to date and having those feelings for someone you care about in LiS 1 kissed chloe and really felt a connection between the two in how much max did to save her friend thata love and in her journal she mentions how she enjoyed kissing chloe and questioned why she was so jealous saying is it the love of a friend or more it was heartbreaking to have to let her go and save the bay ... chloe had a rough life she just needed to me loved and understood .. in BtS I really related to chloe and her anger and frustration I to have lost a parent at a young age and rebelled as a 16 year old that wall she built up that loneliness and how misunderstood she was she also was less abrasive In btS we got to see a side of her being vulnerable and a bit of a nerd when she let her guard down I also chose Rachel to be a love intrest because just like everyone else I was taken back by her she was sweet determined talented and putting myself in chloe's shoes would be blinded by her beauty im just getting started on True colors so in just getting acclimated to who Alex is as a character
I like how even though you can choose the options, Alex is still canonically bisexual.

Also, it's the "nope" option. That was Alex's polite way to say that nope, she's not attracted to girls.
@@gilpaspot9811 She was confirmed as bi by the creators, the nope option just closes Steph as the love interest. Alex is into both boys and girls, that’s why the nope option says that she’s “mostly” dates guys.
I was consumed with the game, I couldn't pay attention to what she was saying, so picked the first option which was 'yes'... and then I chose Ryan.
And then felt sorry and replayed 4th episode because Steph is written to be much more interested in our character, Ryan feels like Gabe's friend who happened to be around helping Alex.

@@kateohara598 so true- we had the one moment of him being the one she showed her power to first (besides Gabe) but even that was about Gabe. Which is good, as a best friend of Gabe I wouldn’t expect him to mack on his dead best friend’s sister right away. Steph def was the romance option that made more sense- she was a best friend of Gabe too, but she showed more interest in Alex.

SAME! I was playing on my PS4 and I didn't really want to take my eyes off the game so I just went with yes and I didn't mind at all because I love Steph and I wanted Alex to be with her instead of Ryan! Don't get me wrong I love Ryan he's very Sweet and he's a really good Friend but never really had a chance against Steph she's too powerful and I just love her character and the fact that even if you did go with Ryan she still had your back and even gave you the Record store as well just Wow!
How your sexuality is chosen: God makes you play foosball and just drops the question midway and you have five seconds to choose. The closest option and the biggest button is being straight, the better you are at foosball the more likely it is you will actually think before choosing. I personally just panicked completely and grabbed the ball and threw it at random, I didn’t see where it landed. Might have just bounced everywhere and pressed a bunch of buttons. I guess I’ll figure it out eventually.
You don't need to if this stresses you out! I stopped questionig the moment I realized that I didn't really care as long as the other person I end up loving is, well, Just a living person 😂

This game was a great Steph dating simulator with a mine disaster subplot.
Steph and Ryan are a very interesting Yin Yang kinda deal. Ryan is super emotionally open and genuine manor but then has like trust issues? almost, while Steph's got that super "tough guy" exterior and excitement all the time but she's super loyal. They're both total opposites in many ways. Somewhat typical dating sim kinda design but its well done and I appreciate the writing.

I like how in the 'Nope' option, she doesn't actually say no. She just says she has dated mostly guys. This still shows she is bisexual and just may have a male leaning preference, or she was afraid to fully come out so she only partially answered the question while also dodging it. You can't erase the fact she's bisexual with a button push. That is good representation.
Imo, it only shows that she's experimented in her past, but ultimately found out she preferred boys. It happens..

I can actually play foossball in real life, and since I played it on PS4 the game was extremely well integrated into the controls. Thus I kicked her @$$ completely..

I played the Remasters before jumping into this game and I put myself into the shoes of these characters I'm a straight guy so of course I'm always choosing the female romance options lol .. but in all seriousness the women are just so well written they're beautiful and talented with distinct personalities and I kinda crushing on them all 😏🤣 for example Max is shy and timid who learns to be confident in her ability as a photographer Chloe is a Rebel a troublemaker who knows how to have a good time who builds a wall because she's been abandoned and feels alone she's also a bit of a nerd most of all she's loyal and a hell of an artist Rachel is beautiful but also sweet very spontaneous and real as f*** she's also a terrific actor and has many goals in life shes very self centered she isn't perfect but no one is I think she was just looking for an escape it's sad that such a free spirit met such an ill fate ... I'm still only about 30 mins into true colors but I can already see Alex is a beautiful woman and loves music as she wrote down some songs in her journal and plays guitar

If you check her old texts in her phone you can see that she hooked up with a boy and a girl in the past, so yeah, I’d say she’s canonically bi.

@@huehuehyu I think the game leans more heavily into you dating Steph though, in my play through I chose both and flirted with them both during the LARP and didn't give either of them a rose and ended up running off with Steph and Ryan's friendship with Alex was completely gone which was kind of sad.

I never played LIS2 before but my interpretation with the game choices that the devs give us is that Max and Alex's sexualities are reflective of the player's choices. Dating mostly guys and some girls doesn't make someone automatically bisexual just how some gay men dating women or lesbian women dating men change their sexuality due to them pretty much experimenting. Both Max and Alex can choose which is what I find interesting as they are the protagonists that mirror the player's choices specifically well except for Chloe, but mostly because she was already a pre determined character with a clear attraction to Rachel Amber. So Max and Alex could be straight, lesbian, or bisexual based on player choice.
Steph be like
"If you're not gay, here's my friend's number. And here's mine if you are."

I just played this scene, I didn't listen to anything they were talking about, I was focused on the game, and I replied with a "no" cause I didn't know what she said
why is "nope" an option if she is still implying she's bi? the question was "Do you like girls" there's already a "Both" option
The nope option just shuts off Steph as your love interest in the conversation, it doesn’t really change anything because I’m pretty sure you can still romance her either way.
The sky is blue, water is a liquid and Alex belongs with Steph.
I thought it was a little funny when I heard this dialogue. It was meant to throw the player off and for me, it did. I managed to win the foosball match by 1 point.
