I LIKE THAT YOU HAVE YOU SON DOING STUFF LIKE THIS ... I WISH I OWNED A TRUCK
@gentry&sons that a volvo
Does it have a cat engine
False advertising!! An 8 year old CAN NOT buy trucks or anything remotely close!!
@brayden carsner probaly a mercedes engine
He is young but he already knows what he wants in life that’s great I’m 55 and I still don’t know what I want
I love the fact that you run old iron and how you are teaching your son to how hard work get you what you truly desire congratulations to your son on getting his second truck
Love watching you and Brax work ! Brings back memory’s when I worked on them before all the DEF and electronic systems !
Wish there was more kids out there like this. Parenting done right
That's how you make a great driver you start them young
Wish I could of start trucking from young
Started driving on my pops lap in elementary school
K WinChronic same
I wish my father would've taught me stuff like that. You raising him right by starting him off young all men need to be like that. 👍🏿👍🏿
That boys got it in his blood! Good for you Dad and Mom, you’re doing it right 👍🏻. Crazy how all this unfolded for you, honesty paid off!
just cut out ALL sugar,he will thank you later.
What's that cholesterol? LOL. Sad.
@@robertthompkins795 down not Out... There is sugar in sugar. Meaning almost everything a guy eats has sugar in it. 😊beer, spaghetti, bread, water melon , apples.
@@wynottgivemore9274 An 8 year old being that overweight is not from beer. It's from lack of exercise.
My wife and I are retired Truck drivers. We drove for Interstate as company drivers. After working several years we raised enough money to purchase our own truck. We then leased on with Forward air. I remember how excited we were the day we purchased our own truck. We are so proud of you and your son.
Now that’s a good father. He’s teaching his son all the tricks and trades in the trucking industry. I think it’s awesome 👏🏻 good job brother
It's good to know that there are a few decent people out there with morels and values. Keep raising that boy just the way you are and roll on!
Well done to you stopping those thieves and helping the original owner out. Brax and the other kids are a credit to you both. Looking forward to watching your coming videos
Another 10 years and you might be working for your boy. 🤣
Great to see a honest man doing honest work well done mate .
Thank you for been a role model to so many people out in the world I remember my late father been a lot like you I would love someone to tell me that I am like you thank you for sharing your wonderful videos I am from South Africa 🇿🇦
Love seeing Brax putt those things around. I was about his age the first time I got behind the wheel with my dad in a field in his truck. Wasn't a hauler. Just an 86 Chevy C20 but I remember doing that 32 years later like it was yesterday. Hope Brax always cherishes his memories like doing this stuff with you. I suspect he will :) Good job to you and him.
Father of the decade love seeing stuff like this makes u feel good inside keep it going sir🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I do love seeing and hearing the older trucks on the road. I always liked the cab overs myself....
That's awesome. Good luck little man. And what a great dad for teaching his son some responsibility.
Very happy for him. Your set a good example for him keep up the good work
Love the videos! Happy for junior already putting in the work young. I grew up around my dad and his trucks. Miss him everyday rip steve
Great example of Father and son bonding
I love your videos, and you're making some pretty awesome progress.
Honesty and hard work seem to be a great recipe for success.
Keep on trucking and vlogging 🚛💨🚛💨🚛💨😎😎👍💪
Pretty decent truck! It needs a little work
Should be a good one
Yep that transmission sucks
We called it a stupid 10 instead of a super 10
Y’all have a good weekend
Enjoy your videos 👍🏻
i F-ing HATE a super 10 ,i learned on a 4x4 road ranger ,and the truck i drive for my farm has a 6x5 twin stick spicer it's also a peterbilt 1977 pete 359 but a very much modified pete it's been stretched and the cab moved back ,because behind the grille sets a 16V-71 detroit 2 stroke ,the drives are 40K rockwell military axles as is the steer axle a 25K powered steer ,, it's used as a sometime farm tractor and as a get it unstuck vehicle for pulling farm equipment out of holes and also for hauling corn and beans in out of wet fields
Love a super 10... just takes some time to learn it!
@The Adventures of Trucker186 and Tuttleman I'll stick to my spicer 6x5 ,, i can't stand a 10 speed,,and i've driven everything from a 7 speed to an 18 ,16 speed roadranger ,5+2 , current truck i drive is a heavy haul spec Pete 359 built in 1977 and powered by a 16V-71 detroit 2 stroke ,,6x5 twin stick takes getting usedto but i love it and hate autoshift and automatics both
@The Adventures of Trucker186 and Tuttleman now i can do a 13 speed ,, my old cabover GMC has a 13 speed behind an 855 big cam Cummins ,,it does pretty good as far as fuel economy , i tow my 44ft camper with it and routinely get 11+ miles per gallon with it
@@wildcoyote34 I'd like to see some pics of that coe hooked up to that rv
That's awesome that you were able to get this 98 Peterbilt and your son must feel really proud to own a Peterbilt. Starting this young man on the road to great things keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from you guys. Awesome as always
I could see him grown up with an epic beard and mustache like what his epic looking father has. Also, it's good that this kid will be able to get some gooood use out of that truck. You guys are quite Epic looking! And I love it :)
That's awesome 😎 that he saved his money 💰 to get that rig keep teaching them the right way 💯
Amazing what KIDS can focus on... cool pops! My 2sons (4&5yrs old) memorized the TimesTable
This kid kills me...young kid like that driving a Semi ... You're doing a great job with him ..Teach them young ..
I'm proud of that boy. He is a strong minded little man and knows what he wants in life. He will always do good in life. I'm 60 years old and I would like to work for that boy.
Yes,,ur definitely 👍 1 of a kind OWNER/ OPERATOR,,TRUCKING COMPANY,,& soo much in fact that it soo reminds of my Dad's business,,way back in the hey day of TRUCKING, when TRUCKS were TRUCKS& were built to last & run 🏃♂️ run a lifetime's $$
Good job little guy keep trucking not many of us left
Loved the video. Both you guys are above and beyond. A Great inspiration to many. Than u. Looking forward to more.
The old stuff looks and sounds so much better than the modern plastic crap. That's one sweet sounding rig, lucky boy for having the right kind of father!
This is epic. Glad to see dads still doing stuff like this.
Best trucking videos on RUclips. Your honesty paid off. I'm glad everything worked out the way it did for you. I think you should do a video on all the trucks in your fleet. I'm partial to the old iron myself. I don't like all this new electronic stuff I like the old mechanical stuff. Congratulations to you and Braxton on expanding your fleet. I can't wait to see more.
Great video, you never know how your blessing come, helped a person and ended up with a deal on three trucks. Stay Safe
Damn, this 8 year old kid has a cabover and a kitty Peterbuilt and I'm still just a company driver at the age of 30.
Can't hate on him but a little jealous though.
But hat's off to him
Yeah. Little chunk drives equipment and probably does other adult jobs around the shop. And his dad is fair and probably pays him adult wages for his work. And little chunk doesn't have a women yet to blow all his cash lol
Is not really his haha
I am like you when it comes to a super 10 transmission. I hate them with a passion. I once drove a 2000 W900L KW with a 550 Kitty cat. After about a month of driving it I told the boss I wanted my 99 Peterbilt 379 back. It had a 430 470 Detroit with a straight 10 speed. Loved that truck.
Chuck I’d like to know what drug cartel he works for!😂
Good idea for a shirt: Prius owners need not apply. Gentry And Sons Trucking
Brax has got himself a good start on his future trucking company! I love this channel, awesome content!
You outa put a picture of that pete on a shirt and under neath it.
DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT 🤣🤣😂😂
With the kid in the driver seat...
And have it rollin coal....not real heavy just enough to make it look good
I'm busting a gut at your comment 😂 😂😂😂😂
At 8 years old this kid can weld and now owns a truck. At 8 yrs old I still wanted to be a ninja when i grew up. Thats good parenting
Is Braxton the main one of your kids that help out at your shop? Man he is a go getter. Braxton will be just like you sir a successful owner operator
My first time checking you out. I enjoyed watching your videos. I am 53 and I still want to buy my own truck.
God bless you for trying in man and not getting yourself in trouble and not making no mistakes and you doing the right thing my brother and you did everything right for yourself and your family and everything and your business God bless you I'm very proud of you and way to go my brother amen to you
Bro I love it teaching that young kid a business at 8 years old. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏽❤️🙏🏽
These are the greatest video on RUclips.. you are definitely teaching this kid right.. you seem like a great dad... Keep it up. Tell Braxton great job
awesome, teaching that boy, a good father you are.super 10, 2gears in I hole, slide right, left off throttle, shift up to next hole slide left, then slide right let off throttle, going down just throttle up down shifting.
Every parent wants their children to be better than they are. Go little man, do it BIG
My truck has a super 10. I've never seen one with the splitter on the front like a straight 10 or 13. Those country roads are the best, i drive em daily. Love the content. Braxton is a cool kid keep up that upbringing
Such a cool son with a great father. Salam from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Great to see honesty at work. Obviously the Gentry clan are stand up Americans.
great site, and a great dad. Lucky Brax.
I couldn't wait to see your young man driving the truck that is totally radical🤟🤟🤟
Love the old pete's I use to drive a 95 379 exhd 750hp I miss that truck
Braxton is a bad ass! I have a 5 and 6 year old sons. Going to get them out helping. Keep up the great videos Tim!
Whats that old saying "If you can't find em , grind em!!!"
its a very common expression for truckers well for older trucks that is,
I love what you're doing. Keep it up. God bless.
Awesome. My sons name is braxtn too! I hope we can do this when he grows up
Yeah right ,it's cute what you are trying to do build confidence in the kid
I cannot believe your son bought that bad ass truck good job man really bringing him into the industry early my dad didn't do that with me I'm 19 and I'm barely trying to get in hey Gary and Son's can you send me a video on how you can get in how you can get your first truck and what do I need to do
Braxton BIG BOYS TOYS TRUCKIN FEVER
Wow Brax bought another big truck.. Congrats I can't wait till the next video.. God is good brother...
This is awesome 3rd kid I seen on these trucker vids awesome CONTENT KIDS AMAZING
Step aside Dad! make way for the little guys big riggs!
YOUR AN AWESOME DAD LIVING THE AMERICAN DREAM!! THIS IS AWESOME IN EVERYWAY!!!
Glad you/were able to make a deal on the stolen truck. Enjoy your videos.
I like your channel a lot I am used to watch Bruce Wilson all the time but now I’m watching both of you guys
Glad to see some still start kids early. My Dad started me about that age in equipment on farm. Loved ever minute of it. Great job parenting !!
Great Facebook page. These guys are going for it. Probably with little amount of money making it happen. A lot of work
Good stuff mate. Love that your teaching your son to drive at an early age. I can see he wants to be just like his hero (you).
Smart kid man. Hes got an awesome looki. Classic truck to drive to school now
Love the Channel. Braxton is the Man.
All you got to do is flip the toggle switch up and down when you shift . It takes a little while to get used to
That Kitty Cat was sick. It sure looked good though. I’ll watch the STOLEN video next. Glad that Braxton has a Cat powered Pete! 🤩
Brax is built himself a pretty good fleet
I never comment on anything, always loved trucks this is not a video game kid goes to show real trucks are born, tear it up kid 👏 👍 8
I'am sure that you will get this truck up and running can't wait to see that video.
God bless brother its really nice and bless the connection that you have with your son 🙏 I wanna be like that 2 I'm a dad already but of a girl son the boy ✌ nice truck.
I just watched a vid where people are drinking and doing drugs in the street. Thanks for bring me back to reality. Nice job being a great dad.
Whats up brother i like the content new to your channel big huge fan of your cab over. Thing is sick 🤙🏽. Love how your raising your kiddos. Need more ppl like your self in this world. World now days is really goin to 💩. Keep the videos coming 🤟🏽. “18 gears or nothing” should be one of your shirts. HELL YEAH!!! From Forth Worth TX.
Y'all stay safe. God bless you.
Yes did enjoy this video bro, a bit of tinkering and you will have the Pete running like new i'm sure. Good you were able to help the old owner out, he seamed real happy.
Braxton got a good truck there!!
There have been 5 trucks in my life with Eaton-Fuller 13 speed and not two same kind to change gear. Clutch, gas pedal, how it is rolling, no to same kind even there was 3 trucks just identical model.
Great Channel i really liked the video of you driving your Peterbilt and showing us how you shifing 18 gears that's nice for people who can't drive a truck like yours thank you.
The dad we all wanted.
Best thing is my dad worked the case on this stolen rig😂
I really like ur channel u just simply telling&showing how it is
Man I wish I was ownin trucks at his age I'm 15 I don't own any yet but a nice truck for an 8-year-old he will be a hell of a trucker one day although it is a short hood but a great starter truck for the kid
Im 21 and trucking is my passion one day ill be one
Good deal. Can't wait to see the hats and shirts. I will get one of each. Congratulations on your new trucks.
I remember the first time I drove a super 10, I was like this is the damn stupidest shit ever lol but once I got used to it I kinda liked it for real. You don’t see hardly any super 10’s anymore these days
Have a 1998 Pete 377 with series 60 12.7L, super 10 trans, and 3.70 rear. About to get the engine overhauled.
I always liked them. First big truck i ever drove was old bobtail grain truck. Same concept. Except 8 instead of 10. Some of the last of them had the extra hole. Made many trip from the field to grain elevator.
@@Patrick4254 have the same setup on a 97 frieghtliner, love it.
What is special about the super 10? Sounded like a syncronized transmission that you try to shift wothout the clutch.
Johan Ankarbäck it’s not the right shifter for a super 10, that’s what’s messing him up lol
Good luck young man. God bless Murica
Thank you for up dateing me on bruce, it really sucks
Learning a skill for the future great job
Damn kid has more of a professional attitude on life than I do, i was buying fuckin diecast John Deere toy tractors and a bunch of different make semis but not actual rigs at 8yrs old.
I love how an 8 year old can drive a SEMI and I (an 11 year old) can’t even drive a ride on lawnmower
Damn I feel bad
I know it isn’t a big age difference but you know. Single digit can drive a semi and double digit can’t be trusted with a wagon
@@BMMEC6000 true
That’s sad I started mowing the lawn with a push mower when I was 4
Your the 11 year old duh I am 13 and drive tractors and other stuff
I had that same issue with the rpm not going above 1500 in my CAT turned out to be the vehicle speed sensor on the trans had a bad wire. Wasn’t showing any input.
Also the way it grinds may have metal shavings stuck on the sensor
Probably the issue if you watched when he first drove off the impound lot speedo wasn't moving and then it kinda jumped real quick and started working
he should ba a driving instructor ! students," when bobtailing, first thing to do is put your jake on stage 3.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
