  • MacPhail’s Prelude: Singer-Actor Lab is a weekly workshop for high school students to prepare stage performances in various musical genre. Rehearsals are held on Saturdays from 2:00-5:00pm at MacPhail during the school year, with students working their choice of musical theater, opera, pop, folk-indie and singer-songwriting.
Two outstanding co-coordinators lead the program: Bradley Greenwald and Anna Hashizume, who are amazing performers themselves, but wonderful and nurturing teachers. We also have Jon Ferguson on faculty too, who has had a distinguished acting career in Minnesota and England. Collaborative pianists Paul Kovacovic and Bryon Wilson fill out this amazing team of Prelude faculty.
