This is very good, however, would love to hear your rendition of a straight cover as well. The beginning got me super stoked as it's one of the most beautiful tracks from the SNES. This would be a great additional track for an action scene.
Oh wow, a heavy metal cover of one of the best maze themes from just about any game out there and one that does it justice. Never thought I would hear something like this, and that time signature change on the drums during the second loop. Great stuff. Keep it up.

I really can’t work out if you changed the rhythm/time signature, or of not, why it sounds somehow different to me compared with the original.
It’s particularly obvious with those first 6 opening notes (which repeat in the background thoughout almost the whole song.
