  • I put three cameras in a cypress swamp for about three months. I was not disappointed when I looked at the data.

    I’ve been living in the same vicinity as you do for a couple years now, and haven’t been able to hunt these WMA’s yet, but your game cams have really excited me to get out there next year! Thanks for the great videos!

    Always point your camera to the north. The sun never hits the lens, that way, and you get no glare.

    used to hunt kai-east swamp between old and new calvin roads, someone asked about joyce. Just outside of winnfield. Called Dugdemona swamp, have both hunted and run survey lines through there, these are all in north central Louisiana, This kinda looks like the Atchafalya river basin down along I-10

    What kind of trees are growing there?Are they mangroves? I love watching all the different animals and birds and hearing the sounds of nature.

    Second scene has a nice rub in the middle of the shot. Guess that is what made you put a camera there. Nice buck showing up too

    I use to deer hunt the swamp all the time, loved it, but the swamps here in Michigan dont come close to what i see here.
