Another great explore!!! The house was in horrible shape, but u can see it was a beautiful home years ago. The furnitures was absolutely grand. It is a shame that the family left it behind. Wow!! What a stunning place. If only I could teleport those buildings to the middle of America. The flowers you asked about are common reed grass I believe. Microscope. Easel. Chaise lounge haha. So happy to see Dale with you. Great explore!!
What a stunning house! I feel they came from money but eventually couldn't keep up with the cost of maintenance. It almost seems like they may have down scaled their living quarters to just that granny flat / annexe before leaving. The weird fluffy flowers next to the fire in the annexe are puffed out bull rushes used as fire lighters. A great explore as always!

I love that there is no destruction beyond nature taking it all back. It’s sad that so much is left behind of peoples lives, but awesome other people are so respectful of it, and don’t trash it. I also really appreciate how respectful you explore them. Great explore this one!

Lovely old house Adam .In thirty years so much decay but no vandalism which is good .Nice seeing Dale again say hello for me . The large oak carved mirror i have one the same .It belonged to my Greatgrandmother .Imagine this house in its day beautiful .Strange the way the main hall was like a narrow corridor and all the landings upstairs were narrow .The building outside could have been like a lodge house where the gardener and housekeeper lived . Thankyou that was lovely look forward to the next one.

The places like this are my absolute favorite. Beautiful architecture. Old furniture and a few old photos scattered around. Not to mention the kiche stuff like test tubes and 🔬 microscopes put here and there. Things like this are what I love about your channel.

The French have got beautiful mansions. The wallpaper is stunning in every room. I would love that rocking chair, and that Victorian sofa. I just don’t understand why there are so many mansions that have been left to rot away? It just doesn’t make sense, unless the last family member had died. I wonder if the government takes over the property after so many years? This to date is my favourite mansion, and feels so homely and would look amazing renovated. Oh well, I’ll just keep dreaming Thank you Adam, another amazing place.

It was a very fashionable garden plant once with big fluffy heads on the blooms.The name of the thing you couldn't remember is Microscope, and the thing for standing art on is an Easil. Those beds are all so lovely.

Too bad that he didn’t have his own workshop, as I’m sure that those chemicals weren’t good on that beautiful furniture!!! That desk with an attached seat looks like something from the old shows on TV that have a 1 room schoolhouse like "Where the heart is" thats on TV now.

Hi Adam, great explore! The object in the hidden room was an easel for painting. But the outside wall that you could look directly out of by the staircase was fire damage. You can definitely see the charring on the beams. So maybe the room you were in with the blackened ceiling was maybe smoke damage.
I just love old french chatuea's they are always beautiful. The beds are the normal size for french adults going back in time, as they were quite small in stature as adults compaired to other countries. That room with the wicker type lounger in it next to the bedroom, I think you refered to it as a reading or chill out room was infact a 'Modesty room'.....back in the day the Gentry/Posh people as a married couple the Wife never undressed infront of the Husband, he would get into bed and the Wife would enter the Modesty room and disrobe, then in total darkness she would emerge from the Modesty room and climb into bed next to her husband. This was a normal way of life in France and a lot of other Countries for back in the day. The gadget was a microscope, I have a strange feeling he also dabbled in making perfumes as a few things didn't look right for being a just an Alchemist/ Chemist. Nice find. The first little place looked like it was for the Head Gardener/Groundsman and his wife maybe. Well done 💕🇦🇺
