Matt, I just finished the foundation course and have assembled a little team here in Ecuador. Keisha and Casey have been instrumental in encouraging and inspiring us. We would love to have them back here...and, we are happy they are blooming where they are planted.

Oh that's so funny. I've been reading Keisha's post on the Soil Microbe Library (and others) for a few weeks now. It's awesome to get a video on her and her business. 🙂

Thank you for sharing. We all benefit in nurturing and improving our soil, either on a large commercial scale, or a tiny home garden.

This is super cool and Nevada City is only maybe 40 minutes away from me. But I can't afford it. I'm disabled with chronically ill and currently have no money and no income, but even if I did have a job or received disability, it's quite a bit of money. $80 for 10lbs is expensive. It's simply inaccessible for me. I don't know if there's more to it, like maybe you only need that much to enrich a larger amount of soil, but still, it's discouraging for me.

You only need enough to inoculate the seeds of a cover crop mix. Sow the cover crop mix and the root exudates of the growing plants will feed and multiply the microbes everywhere you have a plant growing

I am jealous that this is happening for you so well, full disclosure. I dream the dream you live. I want to use compost to save our world by sequestering carbon. First place to start is SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY, as California feeds the world. I am a student of SFW and landscaper with permaculture training but above all that I am a climate change activist trying to move the needle on our future. We cannot let this degree change happen. We have a few years, 3-7 years. But the feedback loop impact is unknown, we must behave as if this were on our heels today So HOW can we get the soil sequestering more? How do we get CAL ag to transform now? Have you any ideas on this?
