Hey everyone, today we make a Razor Crazy Cart XL run in 2 m18 Milwaukee batteries wired in series! If you have any questions please feel free to comment. Don’t forget like and subscribe! I appreciate every one of you guys!
Did the same thing to my standard cart. Standard controller and motor. Wow what a difference. Used cheap ebay 9ah batteries and charger so cost was not much. Top speed went from 17kph to 25 with heaps more torque and real good range without loosing power. Have a 48v lithium and 900w currie motor coming excited to see what that brings.
That’s gonna be a awesome set up! Keep me updated!
love the detail!
Thank you !
Sick!
Thanks man!
well done
Thank you so much. You were my 250th subscriber. I truly appreciate it!
@@JordyBuilds awesome im glad i found ur channel man. much respect
Hi love the video, did you use a 30amp fuse in the fuse holder? Or higher?
30a!
I'm going to run 2 - 40 volt Ryobi 6ah Lithium batteries parallel on my Xl 36v 500w
I sell pre wired controllers now ! jordybuilds.myshopify.com/collections/all
Did u get around to hooking up those 40v Ryobi batteries?? @shomesomelove
I just bought my crazy cart and I really want to upgrade the battery to drill batteries but I have no experience wiring or soldering. Should I still try
Yes I think you can do it! Or I can help, message me on my Facebook page or Instagram @ JordyBuilds and I’ll help ya!
How about 3 batteries? Could that work or is it to much? For reference I have a few Makita 18v 5ah batteries that I’m planning on wiring into my stock xl.
Would be a little over 48v but controller might handle it. You’ll need to monitor voltage and pull them when batteries reach 1 bar it you risk messing up batteries
@@JordyBuilds would upgrading the controller make it more reliable? And what would I look out for if I got a voltage gauge?
Thank you for responding.
@Soccermom210 stock controller would blow so you’d need a bigger one and then Olathe gauge would be to monitor about where voltage is at when batteries are at one bar so you know when to pull them
@@JordyBuilds thank you for the help. I’ll go ahead and buy a 48v controller and a xl voltage monitor from ur store.
Nvm no oversea shipping
Will this work on a standard size cart if controller is 36v but stock motor
I’ve heard it works but there’s a chance of burning up controller so just pay attention & be cautious!
Hi, I’ve got a crazy cart shift and I’ve tried straight swapping one of my 18v 5ah batteries into it. The power switch lights up but it just makes a clicking sound when I press the throttle. Any idea if I have a wiring problem or is it something else? Do I need to run 2 batteries in it?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dan
Just clicking usually means dead battery. I’d double check you have everything hooked up properly but may need a new motor
shift is 24v not 18v
@@MooseRidezdidn’t even catch that
@JordyBuilds i have a shift v1 on 36v lmfao and my v1 standrad cart is 48v. Lol.
How long do batteries last?
I rode for about 45 minutes I believe then I pulled them at one bar
Nice one.. how long do the batteries last ?
On two 5ah I get 40-60 minutes! I sell a full kit now if you are interested!
Hi Jordy, thanks for your videos!
I'm hoping you can help me. I have an 18v and 54v DeWalt battery that I'd like to hook up to my stock Crazy Cart.
My main goal is to increase battery life and not have to upgrade anything else e.g. the controller.
Is it possible for me to use one or a combination of them with my Crazy Cart as is?
Thanks! ☺
Can you link the 54v battery? I’ve never seen it. I don’t think either of those alone would work without upgrading either for the 54v or getting a second 18v
@@JordyBuilds I don't think it's letting me send links but here are the model names.
54v - Dewalt DCB546-XE
18v - Dewalt DCB184-XE
Have you had issues with it ruining the Milwaukee batteries?
Nope! I sell tons of plug and play kits now! All happy customers
i want to do this could u help me with connecting the batteries together if i get a crazy cart could i message u on Instagram or snapchat ?
I make a sell the adapters now!
