Yeah man, although it can kind of kill the listening experience if you have a nasty sound overlapping the beat, it needs to still be pleasing to the ear
1) Don't send files to artists, use links instead 1:19 2) Use beat selling platforms 3:17 3) Direct all your traffic to one place where you sell beats (ex. RUclips, Beatstars, etc.) 4:39
Here's a valuable story: Random beat maker makes beat containing stolen sample because he's hip-hop and that's what hip-hop does. beat maker uploads/sells said beat. Random rapper said finds beat, buys/steals beat and raps on it and then uploads/sells/releases Track. Track goes viral. So who gets paid? Well in this case the sample was Nine Inch Nails ghosts IV, The beat maker was YoungKio the Rapper was Lil Nas X Track was Old town road. Go check the wiki, Everyone got paid. Lesson being: let your stuff spread as far as possible, if its successful enough (even in other peoples hands) it will come back to you.

Like Trent reznor could have sued YoungKio right?, but he didn't, he said "i don't want to be a roadblock" and they worked it out. The point is roadblocks, the problem in modern music society is obscurity, not piracy. same with all media. Gabe created Steam for games to prove that convenience was the problem, not piracy. People would rather buy a game if its easier than pirating it. With your music you have to remove all roadblocks to it getting spread. yes people are gonna steal it, so what that's a compliment, but if you did a good enough job, and that thief has an even better vision for it, that's a win win.

Check who is subbed to your channel and stalk social medias, keep an eye on who follows you or likes your post, and post stories on ig for example and see who’s checking out and using your beats who don’t follow you, and type your own name on RUclips and soundcloud

Here's a valuable story:

Does including a contract in your email with your wav and mp3 files help? By downloading the wavs they automatically agree to the terms

If you have a beatstars it Airbit account you can connect your RUclips content ID to it, that prevents people from monitizing your beats on RUclips 👊
