Puddle of Mudd is a rock band from Kansas City, Missouri. To date the band has released four best selling albums and sold over 7 million records in the United States.
They are best known for the song Blurry, which AOL Radio listed as one of the Top Alternative Songs of the Decade. And while Blurry remains their trademark song, Puddle of Mudd has also charted four more #1 singles on the mainstream rock charts.
The band's latest album Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love and Hate was released in December 2009, and features their latest hit Spaceship.

Say what you want about Wes Scantlin. Despite his flaws (and the fact he has frittered away most of his fame and wealth in the ensuing years), he had the BALLS and perseverance to stick with Puddle of Mudd for TEN YEARS (1991-2001) before they hit it big and had a multiplatinum album, bringing him success, wealth and fame.
Ten years of likely living in a rat infested garage on the brink of starvation. Ten years of playing in half-empty sleaze joints and not even being paid enough to buy fuel for the trip. Ten years of being called a "failure" and being told to "do something with your life" by relatives and ''friends.'
Yet Wes Scantlin stuck it out and eventually made it. What percentage of people (even with his songwriting talent) would have the balls to do the same?
Yes he has behaved like an idiot. Nevertheless, while I don't like Wes Scantlin, I respect him.
Jimmy Tee Rex Stuck it out?? He ran through like 8 fucking members because nobody can live and work with him. Give me a break
