  • Thanks for taking the time to read this!
With a quick stop to see an angel en route, join me as I head up the A1 to see some fabulous coastline with some wonderful history, including stops at 3 fabulous castles. (Dunstanburgh, Alnwick & Bamburgh)
Just a one-nighter, but what a place to sleep, and what a view to watch the sunrise at the amazing Bamburgh castle.
Join me as I take Renee, my trusted camper convert up the A1 to a part of the UK I have always wanted to discover... and it did not disappoint!
Thanks for watching, please like if you enjoy and do consider subscribing for more, as I seek beautiful countryside and places of interest, hopefully not just within our shores, but eventually further afield too!
Remember - Just Get Out There!
    cheers - Adam

Good to see you back Adam with another video. Northumberland seems thankfully under rated and un spoilt. It’s one of the first destinations we have in mind for Snowy (the van) in the new year.

Thank you! Thouroughly reccomend it - be an ideal first full on destination! Totally agree - that's what was so nice about it - unspoilt and far less people - (apart from Alnwick castle! Harry Potter has resulted in world wide fame!) Thanks as ever all the best - Adam

Imo the best coastline in the UK and I need to get up there so much more and on that note I hope to be at Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh tomorrow as long as the forecast dose not change. Nice to see you got some footage inside the castle, they had a Christmas display on this year and I wanted to film there but was told no, which was a shame. Lovely night and morning shots at Bamburgh but such a shame you did not visit my favourite Northumberland castle, Chillingham, the most haunted castle in the UK, cheers Alan

Well I fully intend on returning one day Alan, so purely on your recommendation, I will make a point of visiting there as a priority 💪 It really was a wonderful part of the world up there, and I cannot wait to one day return - All the best Alan, good to catch up again 👍

Thanks my friend... Nothing new, just the old GoPro 8, my insta 360x2, and my phone - Pixel 7. Seriously welcome to join me on any future outings, hopefully planning on Normandy beaches in the spring! Speak soon - Adam

Hey Adam good vid as ever
Not a proper van though, if it gets under the barrier clearly designed to keep out the undesirables.
I'm in the early stages of converting my LWB Citroen Relay to campervan status.
By that i mean still thinking about what to do first.
    Gary

Hey Gary, thank you, more of a pic slide show really, I was so wrapped up in the scenery, I didn't get my GoPro out as much as I should have done... Nice one with the van - enjoy the conversion, there is absolutely bags of advice and expertise on RUclips to help you along! Thanks as ever, all the best - Adam

Maybe next time you could try the castle on Lindisfarne. Excellent views. Watching the jokers trying to beat the incoming tide on the causeway also makes for good viewing. There's a beauty in the bleakness of all those miles of almost deserted beaches. Best of all is the North East skinny dip in September when over 1000 lunatics run stark bollock naked into the North sea in support of the mental health charity mind. There's some strange ways of enjoying being outdoors , eh ?

Yes there is so much more to discover up there, one day and one night is just not enough... As I said on the video, I will return! As for the skinny dip, fair play to them and a good cause - But I will skip the skinny dip for now anyway!! Thanks for watching and comments - all the best - Adam
