The Witcher cycle lists ten separate varieties of vampires, from near mindless blood suckers, to mid levels that can't walk in daylight, some that change into extremely bizarre creatures when moving from human appearing to their true form such as ekimarras, fleders, garkains and katakans, the type that change into fairly humanoid creatures like the one shown in the trailer (a Bruxa) as well as alps, to the Higher Vampires, which can change from almost undetectable human form into flights of bats, clouds and really, really scary things.

It shouldn't. You can kind of see people are unfamiliar with the game as "commonfolk" who make generalization about the monsters and assume she's a witch, and the fans who played the game as "witchers" who know the specific types of monsters and their traits, so we know she's actually a bruxa.
