It fits the rythm of a Dominion game so perfectly ! - At first it's calm, you "discover" the map and objectives, start setting some traps and evaluate your opponents behaviors... - Then at 12:08 the conflict starts. The enemy is serious. You now decide exactly what stuff you'll buy, who you'll have to target. - 12:50 (my fave) It's time ! You just respawned and bought what you need, it's time to join the front ! The fighters are now giving their all, they die and come back one after another in violent skirmishes ! You've gotta take the high ground ! - 14:45 first choirs that give a touch of epicness ! Now the destiny of the encounter seems settled. Unless some big surprising move is made, one team is leading ! - 17:58 the fight becomes desperate for the losing team. Solutions must be found. Some last minute complete strategy change, big items that may reverse the steam ? The choirs are heard that seem like gods watching the fight attentively. - 19:33 to 19:47 Is it really how it's gonna end ? That's it ?! - 23:55 both forces are exhausted. Everyone has bought all he could, there won't be more support from this part. It's the last chance to destroy the other side. Those who die won't return and all hopes are on the last survivors defending/attacking heroically the last point. (Well... All that in case the game is pretty balanced. Sometimes you would just win with 470 HP remaining ^^) I've stopped playing after Dominion vanished... I had thousands of games in both normal and Dominion and often think about playing again when listening some PlentaKill or what... But then I remember how the game, warding and champions have changed and Dominion is unavailable and I just feel sad :'(
When league was great.when league had music that matched the game.mYtical ,magical, whimsical, dark, light,nature, good Vs evil.This is the true league
@@trolololwin4358 if everything goes well, and they manage to not be taken down long enough to publicly release their server code so anyone can host it, then we can FINALLY play old league again.
It always reminds me that epic game, we were loosing, 2 hp left vs 90 for opponents. In a tryhard group action we finally won 2-0 so epic with this music. So sad Dominion is no more a permanent game mode :(
I remember whenever I would be lucky enough to see a game last to 70v70, the super intense track which was supposed to mean "THE! SHIT! IS! REAL!" would loop over itself, about a second apart, which ironically would double the intensity with an eerie/kinda funny effect.
The best choice you could ever make despite not fitting with the flow of non-dominion games. Why they can't just make dynamic music? They would really improve the feeling of playing a game. One thing l noticed when we repeat something many times, when we have good sounds(effects and music), good music, the repetition becomes more bearable. Most of LOL music is just background without the epicness, Even the chamption select is lacking, unlike the old one. Dominion is easily their best creation but also their worst choice when it was deleted.
They had to do it because the overall player pool was shrinking. Had to condense everyone into Summoners Rift to keep queuetimes acceptably low and the invested people playing (so they'd keep spending money on riot points). That and frankly the changes they made to exp gains absolutely killed Dominion. Nothing past the first teamfight at top mattered anymore when ~2 minutes into each match one team would be Level 6 and the other team Level 4.... you'd just snowball out of control with way too early ultimates and then steamroll the game from there if you had any even semi-decent picks. The slower passive leveling was NEEDED to keep the game balanced and they took it out to try and make hypercarries viable, instead made snowball assassins undefeatable by accident.
@@Jukantos So instead of fixing what they themselves broke, they decided to remove the mode entirely. I personally enjoyed Dominion much more than ARAM or Summoner's Rift - it's what got me into LoL in the first place.

@@Amantverus Yeah, even if it's different, the classic 5v5 in Summoner's rift was "a copy", an evolution yet still the same as the original WarCraft DotA > StarCraft version > DotA itself. Even ARAM was a mode created by players since long in those games, with the idea to not obey the rules and set new ones (which for me makes an ARAM mode... Boring. It's not the wild thing it's supposed to be). But with Dominion they really had their own creation. Their vision of a different way to play a MOBA that was great ! And they spent resources and time to create a nice map, evolutive music and such.. It's a shame they took down what should've been their top priority to keep as their own unique game mode ! + it was also a good way for people to breath between some normal/ranked games or when they couldn't play long.
The classic Nuke the Pikachu/Zergling ! We also did some 2-3v5, where there were Defenders that would try to protect the Prey or slow down the Hunters ! Some tanky Sejuani or Ashe (Ashe tank was OP in Dominion btw) sticking to someone, Blitz grabbing people randomly across the walls then running away laughing, Zilean playing tricks both sides or Teemo breaking everyone's balls with 40CDR shrooms everywhere while Shako puting some jitbs ran away with his double luring hunters away..
