What was the reason for the mechanical failure?
A freak internal failure in the bottom end. Nothing that could have been done unfortunately. Just it bummer it happened.

It was the lower end that had an issue. Super freak failure, just such a bummer for Zach.
Ok it sounded like it. And yes that sucks. I have had that issue a couple times with my old Crf250
