- A group labelled as “Islamist extremists” in many countries, Hizb ut-Tahrir, held a static rally in Central London today (Nov 25). One speaker commented: “Don't care about international law, care only for your duty to Allah”. The UK government is under pressure to proscribe Hizb ut-Tahrir, a movement that is banned in Russia, parts of Europe and much of the Middle East. On a previous demo, a protester made calls for jihad against Israel. In many countries, Hizb ut-Tahrir is regarded as holding anti-Semitic sentiments and supporting the idea of violent jihad, albeit not openly.
Meanwhile, around 200,000 pro-Palestinians took part in another march. A heavy police presence, of 1,500 officers, saw off any serious incidents. In total there were 18 arrests as part of today’s public order policing operation.

Here is my two penny-worth on this: Britain, Germany and many other countries in Western Europe have a big problem on their hands now. The reason is failure to stem the tide of immigration of all these people from the Middle East and South Asia for decades. I am Middle-Eastern by the way, but I would say that giving refugee status and immigration grants to generations of people who are unwilling to socially or politically integrate into the societies they are moving into is the core issue here. Unfortunately, we are not talking about a few hardline elders who immigrated to the West in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. We're talking about the newer generations brought up by these people, and completely brainwashed into a warped ideology that cancels the other and takes its rotten root from very bad ideas generated in the Arabian desert in the seventh century. I don't see any solution to the issue other than trying to help these people be integrated. If not, then their children or children's children. They will continue to advocate violence because it's part of their core belief system. So, they have to be challenged, countered, and repelled. Appeasing them will be like Chamberlain trying to see reason with the Nazis in the late 1930s. What's worse is that they live in your midst like a Trojan horse, with fighters of Allah willing to jump out of it and lay to waste everything in sight.
They will never integrate. They want you to integrate into their beliefs.
That is why they are here for, in hundreds of thousands.
