if you struggle w dry skin I'd recommend using a cleaning balm or cleansing oil to remove your makeup/as your first cleanse!! I've been using the inkey list oat cleansing balm for YEARS it's my ride or die I even have oily skin but I love it. so soothing and literally melts your makeup away including mascara. you can also use it as a leave on mask when ur skin needs some extra hydration/soothing xoxo

Sorry you had a bad week but appreciate that you’re keeping it so real💕 watching your vlogs actually feels a bit like catching up with a friend, even though ofc it’s a one-side convo haha, but it’s weirdly comforting🫶

Girl!! To help your sleep, you can take magnesium glycinate every night, and off your phone about 2 hours before you sleep. I’m adhd and I get over stimulated so very calming few hours leading up to bed. I also cry so so so much if I’m tired and because of adhd you can be so emotionally drained from it!! The world can feel so heavy.. best thing that works for me is to read a good book or write about an hour before I sleep. And also!! What’s the sticky thing you use on your phone to help film? I didn’t catch it, love your videos 👏

Omg I relate to the whole adhd meds vs caffeine dilemma. I thought it was so interesting to learn that was why I always felt like caffeine helped me to focus and ease nerves growing up. Then when I drank caffeine after starting my meds I was like “what??? This is what caffeine is like to the rest of you??? It actually makes you stay awake???” I hadn’t been warned about it, but yeah to anyone reading: caffeine is a stimulant drug already, so to use that on top of other stimulants such as certain types of adhd medication can sort of send your nervous system into a frenzy.
I have personally found I can still have caffeine, just that I have to time it right. No more coffee or caffeinated teas while I settle down in the evening, but also no coffee when I immediately wake up and haven’t let the meds kick in. I had to increase my water intake too, cuz I feel like my overall body temp increased after I started the meds.
ALSO, just to dispel a myth, drip coffee has significantly more caffeine than espresso-based drinks. People assume it is the other way around. You might do well to order an americano and add milk or whatever flavors rather than an iced/hot drip coffee if you aren’t in the mood for a latte but still want coffee flavor but not too much caffeine. It’s going to depend on the shop you are at so it’s a safe bet to ask or look into where they get their beans and look up the caffeine content, but usually places advertise if they get specialty extra-caffeine type beans.

I take magnesium to help with sleep, but when I used to struggle more significantly I went to the doctor for some proper melatonin (the ones they prescribe are slightly stronger than over the counter in UK) and it really helped. Did give me crazy dreams for a few years but don’t think that’s everyone’s experience. Hope you feel better x

Use a moisturiser that has SPF built into it then it’s not another extra step! Cerave have one! Magnesium also helps with sleep!

Hey syd saw your troubles with sleeping, get some magnesium spray and spray lots on the bottom of your feet before bed! Also take magnesium glycinate before bed also. I also struggle and it’s helped a lot 🙂
