- Kenya: Ruto Admits Cops Abused Protesters | Firstpost Africa
Kenyan President William Ruto has publicly acknowledged the abuse of power by his security forces for the very first time. Ruto admitted that there have been “instances of excessive and extrajudicial actions” by security personnel, though he did not clarify what these actions are. This public admission comes amid a wave of controversial kidnappings that have re-ignited widespread protests. Many Kenyans have hit the streets again to rally against a series of recent unexplained abductions of government critics. As per reports, over 80 people in Kenya have been missing since June when young Kenyans were on a march against tax hikes proposed by the Ruto administration. Protesters, activists, and opposition blame the government for these abductions. Watch for more details.

admittting is like blaming the former CS of interior security for what happened but back then he even called for SOE and said they were organised crimes, the question is why now? he knows denying will not put him on the bright side of what already has been exposed. Seems The Grammy Award did work
