- I pruned this overgrown Jade back in March. It’s been 8 months and I’m pretty happy with how he’s doing. And, he is starting to bloom!!
Thanks for watching. 😘🌵🌴

Wow wonderful amazing video of Jade plant ❤❤❤😮😮😮😊😊😊
impressive plant, great job
The jade plant pruning turned out great, you’ve given me the courage to tackle my jades! Thank you for sharing your technique.
Thank you Sue. Happy pruning!
It looks very happy.
The Echeverias are looking great too!
Good luck with your Haworthias; they'll love the shade.
Thanks for the update 🙂
Yeah!! Glad you liked the update. I always enjoy seeing how gardens progress. It’s still amazing to me sometimes to see how quickly succulents can grow. Thanks for watching.
Looks great! I was a bit worried. I live in Chicago and a Jade would just die as it drops below zero here. You must live out west.
Thanks!! Yes. I’m in San Diego, CA. Rarely do we ever get under 32°
It looks so graceful now!
Thank you so much; I was very pleased with how it turned out.
Beautiful jade.
Thank you💕💕
It looks wonderful! If you want more bonsai look itll take pruning a few pretty big branches. One general rule for jade bonsais is if there's a joint with 3 shoots then take one off, so on joints with 3 big branches on consider taking one off to your desired shape.
Thanks for the info. I’m needed to give it a good prune this fall once it’s cooled down. Thanks again for the advice.
Amazing update!
Thank you Dirk!
I think you should keep a bit of branching so as to create a nice crown (but I'm guessing you've already done the deed).
Interesting idea!! This plant has really grown quite a bit since this video. This jade is in In my last summer succulent update video. He is in need of a prune but will be waiting until after the heat of the summer for sure. Thanks for the ideas.
@@Sarahleanned I'll be sure to check it out :) It's a very nice specimen!
Exquisite!!!! Do you sell the pieces that you cut off ? Thank you.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video. No I don’t sell them, I think they would be actually pretty heavy to ship.
