    If I’ve learned anything from instagram it’s that the plant on the desk is a prerequisite to making good music.

    Fantastic breakdown and nice incite on how to structure a song. Arranging is kind of odd in the Maschine DAW.

    • @PeterRobotMusic
      @PeterRobotMusic  Год назад +1

      Thanks! Arrangement is completely unintuitive in the Maschine DAW... they did not nail the design on that section unfortunately. I definitely do most of my arrangement in Ableton

    Nice job Peter, great insight into seeing the mk3 work in a project.
    I wonder if you did the sidechaining in the mk3 or in a DAW?

    • @PeterRobotMusic
      @PeterRobotMusic  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! I do the sidechaining in the mk3. I'll use the internal compressor or the NI buss compressor, and set it to sidechain to the kick.

    Do you bounce out each instrument as stems and do mixing and final edits in another Daw or do you get your whole arrangement done within Maschine?

    • @PeterRobotMusic
      @PeterRobotMusic  8 месяцев назад

      For now, I do the whole arrangement in Maschine. Whenever I finish & release some of these tracks, I'll bounce out the stems to Ableton for a final mix

      @@PeterRobotMusic sweet. I can get a really nice main part of a track going. & then can play with muting groups or individual pads etc to begin to lay out an arrangement but haven’t learnt how to actually arrange it all out yet via scenes, patterns, timeline...
      Do you post any tutorials or anything?
      Would love to see you go through the process from the initial main loop to an actual arrangement.
