Now that’s what I call a proud ticklist for just two days. Simply wow!!
That's a proud ticklist no matter what... I didn't know he did all of this in just 2 days, and it looks like conditions were wet and not great for one of them... Holy shit I'm blown away.
Nice to see what happens when super fit comp-climbers aren't allowed to compete. Absolutely crushing it! Hasn't Jakob ever been to Magic Wood before? He flashed so many classics!
That body tension at 0:25 is unreal.
How about the shoulder tension at 2:40 tho 🤯

People rarely name Jakob when it comes to the list of best boulderers in the world because of his lead preference (it seems), but his ascents and the relatively short time it takes them (Bugeleisen stand and sit same day for example, lots of flashes 8A and harder) suggests he is one of the best boulderers in the world. Even in front of more well known names.
Also side note: his beta for the crux of Rythmo at 6:05 is bonkers hard and only works if you're able to climb much harder than 7C. Don't learn from this haha

A wenn Jacob so stark wär wie der Adam Ondra, ist das ein riesen Projekt. Kostet viele viele Monate und die hat ma nid gleich im handumdrehen.

8b+ flash, a first of a kind?
It's actually been done my a good amount of climbers multiple times including Schubert himself. I don't believe an 8c flash or harder has been done yet though. Although funnily enough Schubert flashed Sharmas Witness the Fitness in Spain which Sharma graded 8c. Schubert downgraded it to 8b+ though, so maybe that's the hardest flash that's been done. Either way 8b+ flash is quite the accomplishment.

Jimmy Webb, Daniel Woods, Adam Ondra to name some. Ondra's flash of Jade is in the running for hardest flash to date. But agreed - very impressive regardless.
Tomoa Narasaki and Ned feehally have flashed it too I think
