An epic Dartmoor adventure Gary! We were so lucky with the weather and just had enough wind for some great kite flying. I've always wanted to visit the Sea Vixen crash site and it was well worth the trek across the peat bogs to get there. Here's to our next adventure. ATVB Graham

Glad you're back out. Having been to Flat Tor twice fairly recently I can agree it is a favourite spot - I've always had it to myself along with my companions. It's a great stop off en route to Cut Hill as I'm sure you've done many times before. ATB Max.

Is there anywhere around Dartmoor that's good for finding crystals or interesting minerals? I need something to look for...

Hi Gary, always good to see that Graham and your goodself are up to. It's great, that you keep the spirit of these stones and carvings alive by visiting them....I've still not made that trip across the moor. Was hoping halfterm. But the weather looks poor. As I dont know the area I'm not so sure. Thanks as always Grant.

I know it’s boring, but safety first Grant. Most people don’t venture far from their cars. A trip across the moor requires you to be able to avoid the boggy stuff if possible and we are getting into foggy season. I would recommend you visit the high moor , which has the true spirit of Dartmoor. Maybe spring would be a good time and give you chance to plan. Don’t give up on the idea. ATB Gary

Good to see you back on the moor Gary , its always interesting when you come across old crash sites . I suppose that one just disappeared into that bog . It looked a warm day for it 😅atb Dave

Yes Dave. That plane is probably stuck against a rock underground with the pressure of ground and water. A fantastic location but not for the naive. I think we’ve had the last of the warm camps for this year.
      Hope you’re well.
I’m doing less filming these days because of the covid idiot menace which is having a big impact on the National park.

@@yargstrebor4340 Yeah I have seen in the news about possibly banning wildcamping in certain areas of Dartmoor, because of mess and damage etc . I hope they dont and they can bugger off back to the costas
