Still love this! Coming up on his 75th birthday, January 8, 2022. Still miss him.
He was singing while he was sick but still sang better than many auto tuned stars nowadays.
This is real singer, talented, honest n brave to face his fans.
I was there. Eighteen years old and my first trip into New York City was to see this man perform this concert. I can't believe he's gone so soon...
@Keith Sieht Rot I envy you very very much!!
Oh That must be great memory! I wish I was there among of all wonderful Bowie fans !!! I love this live David is so relaxed and so lovely. I never been to his live or seen him once.......
Me too. I filmed the first gig but was caught right at the end during 'Station To Station'. Still has the film though because the security got a blank tape. Saw the Main Man over 125 times live & will cherish every minute. Glad you enjoyed the gig Sarah.
I was there too! I was also able to get a bootleg CD of both nights.
I guess I am kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good site to stream new movies online?
So much beyond an influence.Imma tearing up. Miss him so.
So, so, so awesome. Missing you still, Bowie. Always and forever.
I was never able see him in concert, but thanks to youtubers I can do the next best thing, I miss him so.......
I saw him in Rochester N.Y. the concert after which he was arrested for weed. Before he had a chance to score coke. I was so embarrassed about that lame arrest. But actually I didn't like the concert. I went for Ziggy but Ziggy was already gone. Bowie was into some German influenced self-indulgent mindset. Maybe it was the side effects of the cocaine. Lol.
Followed him since his very first song but sadly never saw him live! Luckily we have lots of tribute nights in Adelaide ⚡️⚡️💕🎶🎶 South Australia is the festival state of Australia
I've seen him five times. The first time 1978 and last time 2003, his last time in Sweden.
Our sailor...sailing forever!!!
Does anyone else not see that at 22:42 he is singing to someone with all his heart and soul? The reaching out, the eye contact, the nod? Iman was there in the balcony I read in another's comment elsewhere. David had to have been singing to HER. Breaks my heart, but imho such a beautiful acknowledgement and testament of David's love for Iman. Missing you so, David. You are the best. May your love be so strong it is bonding your loved ones still.
100% true you can see in his eyes David was looking for her and he sure did find her right then.x
Thank you for this. That is so cool. But I'm crying.
Really can see the spark in his eyes, just for a brief moment but so much love shown.
How many life time will it take for us to finally find someone look at us that way??
Iman was probably pregnant if this is 2000. Nice observation on him singing to her! The wave is hers too at 20:24.
he is a bit choked but guess he had a lousy nights sleep. the fans bond is stronger in life and when we see the stars
He was soooo beautiful
I was there...an absolute beginner...FOREVER grateful to this beautiful man who helped me getting in
I flew from San Francisco to be there. He had cancelled the prior show and while we were waiting in line, it wasn't 100% that he would perform that night. He did and it was amazing to see him in such a small venue, so close...
+berlinsneakerz I drove from Dallas - deadheaded straight to NYC. :)
+Allan Aguirre Awesome! Wish I were there now!
+berlinsneakerz my then bf, now husband and i flew in from dallas. what an amazing experience!
Roseland NY was not by any means a "small" venue. It had a 3200 standing room capacity.
I am so sad today, and I am so grateful that this is on here. I used to look on RUclips all the time to see if anyone documented this show.
Bowie was always so cool! Sexy, and talented! He is missed! Thank you Starman!
I was at this show! So excited to relive this!
Me too. I got two free tickets for signing on to Bowienet.
Thank you very much!!! Such a beautiful man, great performance. Wow.
His voice omg
This deserves more views. It's great but it's making me sad he's no longer with us.
I was there too, with my hubby and pregnant with my second child! Beautiful concert.
Great! Thank you so much for uploading the entire show!
23:40 :"Hi New York!" Hello Luv. he sounded like Lennon there. His laugh at the beginning of this song is like the more giggly Bowie in his early days concerts. This is a special time.
I've been meaning to THANK YOU for this, I was watching it as you were just finishing uploading. I met Bowie that night I'm in the video. Thank you amazing!
I've seen many iterations of Bowie live, but this is the most joyous I've seen him. The band is just incredible.
Still enjoying this, THANK YOU!
Like 1971 beautiful and amazing David
"Same 'air!"
God love ya, Sailor.
Man I love this, him. Miss you, Bowie. Forever
Wow, didn't know this existed, I was there that night !!!!
+Michael Abbott I was just thinking the same thing! What an amazing find today.

+Michael Abbott Me too!!!! And I'm in this at the end of part 3 !!!! :) :) :)
What an amazing show.
+Mark Marshall In my top ten Bowie memories for sure, such a great and very personal show !
+Michael Abbott I was there too. I got free tickets for signing up to his new web site Bowienet.
I filmed the first gig on the 16th but was caught right at the end during 'Station To Station'. Still has the film though because the security got a blank tape. Saw the Main Man over 125 times live & will cherish every minute.
Ditto
I would have walked to NY to see this.
ME. TOO.
When I was a boy .I walked overland. . Why.
I took a one hour train ride to this.
He's such a sweety, i could'nt sing half how he sings with his laringitis XD I never was able to see one of his shows, being cought in my ignorance and some life issues, thanx for all the music! Much love David and may you rest in peace and sing along for the angels

i can't believe he was sick at the time because he sounds amazing. Sadly I never got to see him in concert so I am imagining that my 24-year-old self was there
We love you for ever💕💕💕💕💕
I was there! Hello Sailor!
OMG ! David in a Sailor fuku!
..He was a really rock and roll 's animal..
Great performance
Was at this show David willed himself to do it up right and his kick ass band was all i as usual!
Lo que hubiera dado por ir a sus conciertos ❤!! Revolucionario y camaleonico como nadie!! Único gemiooo
Dennis Davis!!!!
😃
He looks like Tadzio from Death in Venice. I'm sure that's not by chance.
Man, David grew his hair like that overnight almost. Look up some videos of him in 1998, you'll know what i mean.. =P I'm not saying I'm jealous, but I am.
I, and Hiromi Oikawa were there with you Eri. About 30 feet from the stage on the right of the floor. She was so jealous of your experience.
Bellissimo delizioso artista star super star bellissima voce ritmo all right
waôoooo !
David de best
This soooo cute 🥰
We got to go on the David Letterman show before the first. Very cold studio. Issac Hayes performed. A few famous celebs at the Roseland. Susan Saradon I can remember. 😀😁😂
I can do 3 of the 5 David Bowie voices. ....Kewl huh! ....If you don't get my gist, you haven't listened to enough David Bowie.
A Bowie morning...
Irraggiungibile!
Starman you are missed
+If only David could have ruled the world! Didn't think that then but, Now? You bet!
I take my time for Young Brothers & Sisters....When U not at home....
Someone please tell me this is coming out on Blu-ray someday!
Not my favourite period, but one of his best line ups.
David sang to me at rock city in nottingham it was so beautiful I really miss him I was sat in the dj box didn't like crowds at the time
David Wow
2:05
His health issues were serious....
"4 years later he played his last concert
David Bowie’s bandmates have confirmed he closed out his final tour after suffering a mild heart attack onstage.
And that made what happened onstage during a show in Prague, Czech Republic tough to take.
Slick recalls, “He started to hunch over and looked over and I looked over at him and I went, ‘There’s something really wrong’, and I signaled to his tour manager…”
I've heard that but I believe it, had to very sad for Earl
top bowie!
Hello everybody............hello sailor ..🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
🔝💫💫⚡⚡⚡⚡💕💙
Auch als SAILOR SAH DAVID BOWIE TOLL AUS. DAVID DU WARST BYUTIVOLL. DEINE FANS VERMISSEN DICH 🎼🎵🎸🎷♥️💛🌠😥😥😥
Lov e it
He looked like in 1971 - watching the cover of the Hunky Dury-Album - the same look...it is not easy looking 29 jears younger...like "all the young dudes"
This was not part 1, as Part 1 started with Wild Is The Wind.
+Michael Doyle Nice work there. Is that your painting or mixed media ?
+Jimbe' Carroll It is neither. It is the album cover of George Clinton and The P-Funk All-Stars' T.A.P.O.A.F.O.M. Which stands for The Awesome Power Of A Fully Operational Mothership.
Ok I'm feelin it !!! Thanks ...
N.1.
to nemá chybu
la coriste et à coté sinon roi Bowie parfait
cause they are Greater ....I have learned .....
He was ill and yet some in the audience seemed perturbed by that? Wow, where is your humanity folks?
Hallo sailor 😃 As long as we're together - the rest can go to hell 😘💖🎈
Hoo... Good news w
Are you way
God I adore this man. Sex on legs.x
Black David
My middle name is rose
Sorry I lit up the candle
A voiceless and clueless Bowie, go start for a concert. It is in these situations that the know-how of a great professional is seen.
Allah the God
Ohh dear.......he was back on the china white again.....naughty naughty.... ahhh of course NYC out with jimmy again.........what has happened to artists today or so called artists.....
you're an idiot
