Reclaimed Spalted Firewood Lamp Build

I found an old piece of fire wood and thought I'd take it home to see what I could do with it. turns out it was quite a nice piece of Spalted wood.
it is finished with shellac and beeswax

So sorry I have replied sooner, I didn't get a notification. Thanks for the kind words, the stuff in the sauce bottle is sanding sealer from toolstAtion, or shellac by it'd other name. Well worth trying out if you haven't before, dries really fast and looks great
