I'm not sure on the brands, I got a few with the lathe and I've been given a few since. I don't think they're anything fancy. I haven't tried the carbide stuff yet. do you know anyone you could borrow some tradition gouges off?
@@turgworks4138 potentially could be an idea. If you want good recordation for carbide if you decide try them look up UK woodcraft and carbide chisels glen teagles stuff is proper good quality I got square round diamond and a hollower for 120 and it's some really quality built stuff. 👍🏴
Hello my friend, good idea. You made a beautiful step stool. Congratulations. (why don't you upload new content) see you soon. Stay healthy and happy. Big greetings.
Thanks mate. Making videos is just too time consuming for me, if I made a video it would quadruple the time it takes to make the project. As much as I'd like to make longer videos, I just can't
I love it, the guard lift, trigger and safety are a little awkward at first but you soon get used to it. other than that I can't fault it. I've recommended it to a few people
I assume you've been eyeing up my pillar drill,it's my favourite but of kit I've got, £60 from an auction. It's American made, sent here as part of the war effort
@@Everythings_Adjustable Ahh yes, the disc sander was built by my uncle, I inherited it from him. The bandsaw I bought locally, I s a copy of a 14" delta. I've just put new guides on it
So sorry I have replied sooner, I didn't get a notification. Thanks for the kind words, the stuff in the sauce bottle is sanding sealer from toolstAtion, or shellac by it'd other name. Well worth trying out if you haven't before, dries really fast and looks great
Absolutely, I've not used it much as yet but it's miles better than my previous one. It having internal rails just makes it was more usable in my garage, it might even get a dedicated mitre station of sorts
Hiya Pal, sorry I've only just noticed your message, I'm not getting notified for some reason. Thanks for making it over to my channel, it seems like a difficult thing to do for everyone else on TT 🤣🤣
Is this something you’ve built by yourself?
Cool attachment!!!!

Wood turners hate this one simple trick ... wood flipping!!
One day, I'll share my secret technique with the world
Nice bowl , I saw something very similar to this yesterday 😂
Really? Perhaps this is a re run?
Nobody can remember the names of Dainers challenges 😂. Awesome job
Not even Dainsey
Nice, can only dream of turning something, mainly because my wife would shoot me if I brought a lathe
I made a few bowls with my drill press before getting a lathe, you just need a couple of big holes saws
thats how they moved the roman catapaults for accuracy
That's really interesting and makes perfect sense 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What a cool idea! This turned out great
Thanks very much, it's still in daily use so I'm happy with that. Sorry for the delay in responding 👍🏻👍🏻
Party Log Engaged! * came over from Dainer Made. Subscribed incase you make more vids...
Thanks for coming across, I haven't got any plans for more yt vids but I do post vids on my IG account 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing how much one can learn in such a short time about a saw one's not even got!

Barely any talking and i barely understood any of it
What you need is a review video, or better yet,you make the video that you want to watch rather than expecting me to do it
I barely understand your barely legible comment E Rehman. Barely.
Great unboxing very helpful I am glad you cleaned the workshop.
yes it's wasn't as it's best here. thanks for watching
Hiya, how was the DWS774? Any good?
I love it, the guard lift, trigger and safety are a little awkward at first but you soon get used to it. other than that I can't fault it. I've recommended it to a few people
It’s a DWS774 bud not 773 the 773 from Screwfix doesn’t come with the shadow line and is only 1300 motor 👍🏽
Cheers buddy, I'd noticed the title didn't match the thumbnail but I didn't check which was wrong. Thanks for the heads up
The steps are really nice, you have some great old looking machines in your workshop and the dowel trick blew my mind! 👍 👍
I love that dowel trick, wish I knew where I saw it but it works a treat

Great job on the video Tim. Love your camera angles and that’s a damn clever dowel making trick. Definitely going to steal that one from you.
I was well impressed with how well it works, I can't remember where I saw it but I'm glad I did
