Chan and felix wrote fnf about the bonfires in Australia, and it was Filmed there as well. About the meaning of the mv of dlc, the fandom speculate that refers to the movie billy elliot. So happy that you are reacting to skz. Un abrazo 🩷
Not sure if you know but 3racha have had a hand in producing and writing every song they have released so far! So they are really self produced, and get to make a decisions on what they put on their albums which is really cool to me. Really enjoyed this reaction!

Since you're interested in vocals I think you'll enjoy a video which shows the members recording the vocals for S-Class. Hyunjin, Felix, Changbin and Han are the rap line in Skz.. But I mean all of them can sing and rap.
To expand on some comments I've seen:
3RACHA - producing/composing/writing trio. They are really the base of SKZ. They were formed pre-debut because Bang Chan, HAN, and Changbin were friends and wanted to make music together. They made some original songs and some covers and released them on Soundcloud/RUclips/Hip-Hop forums. Then JYPE got Bang Chan to pick out some more members and they were put on a survival show and that's how SKZ was formed! And they were originally a rap trio, yes, but they aren't really the "rap line" of SKZ.
Other RACHAs - the other RACHAs of SKZ are DanceRacha (Hyunjin, Lee Know, and Felix) and VocalRacha (Seungmin and I.N). They are pretty self-explanatory by their names, but essentially it's just based on what they are best at (singing, dancing, and in 3RACHAs case producing). However, they are not the same as lines.
Lines - the rap line is Changbin, HAN, Felix, and Hyunjin. The vocal line is Seungmin, I.N, Bang Chan, and Lee Know. This way of separating them basically divides them by who sings more often and who raps more often. However, that doesn't really explain it fully. They don't have official postions anymore and all the members have sung and rapped at some point. There are songs, even, that are entirety rapping or entirely vocals. HAN has an equal amount of singing and rapping parts and so does Hyunjin recently. Bang Chan and Lee Know mainly sing, but it's not uncommon for them to have rap parts either. On the flip side, Felix and Changbin mainly rap, but it's not uncommon for them to have singing parts. Seungmin and I.N pretty much exclusively sing, but occasionally they do rap and when they do they are pretty decent at it.
Here is some things to know about the songs you listened to. If you would like to hear about all the songs on this album, I recommend checking out their 5-STAR INTRO. They also have a video of them making the studio recording of S-Class.
S-Class - the lyrics basically sum up to this: People often chase after shiny (inconsequential/material) things like fame or money, but in reality they should become the shiny thing (they should actually be talented or have a passion for their art). At surface level it might seem like they are bragging, and in a way they are! But, they are not just bragging about meaningless things, they are talking about how they believe that they do have that passion. In the chorus they are doing a wordplay on the words star “byul (별)“, all “byul-ae (별의)“, and odd “byul-na-da (별나다)” in Korean and there is some other cool wordplay in the song, but I don't know enough about Korean to explain it well.
DLC - it's a song about taking a break. People have speculated that a part of the MV is based on Billy Elliot.
FNF - FNF is a lot of things and has a lot of double meanings. It was originally written by Chan in around 2019 (around the time the Australian bushfires were happening I believe) to express how much he missed Australia and specifically the nature there. It is also dedicated to the Australian bushfires. Anyway, later he got Felix, as his fellow Aussie, to write a verse (the all English verse I'm assuming since I believe Felix is more comfortable writing in English). They've also expressed that it has another meaning of losing a loved one. When Chan talked about the lyrics "I'm catching up" specifically he said: _"Everyone will leave one day. This might be a bit too deep, but the words "I'm catching up" have that meaning "I'll catch up to you soon". I'll soon [leave]._ " And I think if you read the translation, you can see this in some of the other lyrics, too. The MV was flimed in Australia.
Get Lit - another song about escaping away and taking a break. The Korean title translates directly to "Let's die," which is certainly a strong exression, but it's meaning in Korea is closer to something like "Let's get lit." No, the MV is not an ad, they are just fashionistas.
Topline - they had a demo of this song and 3RACHA thought that Tiger JK would sound nice on it. So when 3RACHA has a collab stage with him they asked him to feature on it.

Chan and Felix wrote FNF about the Australian 2019-2020 bushfires. As an Aussie myself that lost family to the fires, this song is my favourite off the album and my second favourite song of all time from SKZ. It really is an anthem. Sorry if I spoiled some stuff from the guide.♥

I'm sorry for spamming comments but I'm answering as I watch because my memory is terrible. Felix is singing more recently but before he wasn't that confident. I'd still love to hear what you have to say on his solo. That he wrote himself and it's just his voice
Fnf was filmed in Australia, and is about the fires that destroyed the flora and fauna there.
It’s about the guilt of not being able to do anything while things were suffering and dying, and missing and grieving for what was lost
FNF - filmed in Australia. Felix and Bang Chan’s home. Sydney I believe. This was written about the Australian bush fires that happened a few years back.
It was actually filmed in Melbourne, as I'm a local and The Herald Sun sign is in the background 😅
The last time they were in Paris was for Music Bank last April, and that's when they filmed the DLC MV (the director travelled with them).
They often film MVs when they're abroad, there's a bunch of "street version" B-side MVs in their first two years that are just them goofing around in the streets of a city they went to for a concert of festival. A lot of the promo for their previous comeback "Maxident" was filmed during their US tour (including the Case 143 music video).
As for positions :
- 3RACHA started off as a rap trio but in Skz they're the "producing line" ; Chan rapping is a pretty rare occurrence even if he's not bad at it (but tbh he's kind of the worst lyricist of the three, his main strength is producing).
- They dropped official positions when their first main vocalist left. And tbh it was not immediately evident as to who would take on main vocal duties in the group ; Han took charge of most high notes , while Seungmin switched to a new vocal coach and basically re-learnt to sing.
- When the group debuted, Hyunjin and Felix almost never sung, but both of them have improved a lot since so they get to sing more often, especially in songs that are less rap-centered.
- There are a few group songs that are entirely sung, and a few that are entirely rap, so you can actually hear Changbin sing in some, and Seungmin/I.N. rap in others. Changbin's actually quite good at singing (he took vocal lessons when he started to train at an academy, and his vocal coach is the one who suggested him to try to rap because he thought his tone would work nicely).
The number of B-side music videos can seem a lot but they've always done this ! So going through their MVs chronologically is actually a good way to discover a good chunk of their music (even if some fan favorites don't have one), about half of their songs have one I think ? Ho and they do have a TON of music. Bang Chan has about as many KOMCA credits as Woozi (he's the one who has the most among 3RACHA because he typically has arranging credits for songs he otherwise didn't write). You have PLENTY of choices for a Stray Kids week.

I’m so excited for you to be checking out skz!!!! To answer your question on positions skz essentially doesn’t have them anymore. Typically you’ll see Han, Changbin, Hyunjin, and Felix rapping and Chan, Lee Know, Han (again), Seungmin, and IN singing but the lineup is often mixed up. To answer a couple other questions Fnf stands for flora and fauna, Seungmin doesn’t paint but Hyunjin does and is really great at it! Felix used to not sing too much but he’s been working very hard and has been singing more and more and I think you’d love his solo song from the skz replay album called deep end! Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin are all part of 3racha which was a predebut rap unit but is not actually skz rap line they’re the producing line and have taken part in writing, producing, composing, and arranging pretty much every song in the skz discography! Skz do have a lot of intense music especially for their title tracks but they do have a lot of variety. If you’re looking for more bouncy and upbeat songs I’d suggest songs such as the view, astronaut, gone days, mixtape: time out, get cool, and awkward silence and if you’re looking for something a little more chilled or melodic check out ex, 19, #lovestay, chill, sunshine, grow up, and sorry I love you. If you’re looking for a good guide to check out either for a video or in your own time (they’re long I get it so whatever you want lol) teanosuga has a good 2023 guide although I believe it was released prior to this most recent come back! Sorry for the ginormous comment but hopefully the info is helpful and I look forward to some more skz content in the future!!

also as for things to react to: definitely their unit songs from noeasy because that showcases them all in different ways. red lights, surfin and gone away! you could also do the unit songs from maxident as well: taste, 3racha and can't stop. they're all so vastly different from each other and provide different things from each member.
since you liked fnf and dlc the most you could also try out songs like chill, the view, star lost, and mixtape: oh! there's also some other great b-sides with mvs like cheese, venom, superboard, etc.
and if you haven't listened to maniac yet definitely that since it's one of their more recent TTs from last year! they have such a massive discography it's honestly fun to just go through it all

the 2023 teanosuga ultimate guide is good! its the most recent, entertaining & informative :) it doesn't state positions and shows the members doing various things etc. would highly recommend this guide if you're looking for one
Im not sure if any one has already mentioned it yet, apologies for doubling up, but FNF (Fauna & Flora) was filmed in Melbourne in February this year when they were here for their concerts (one of those i was lucky to go too) 😊❤

Stray Kids "FNF" or "FLORA & FAUNA" was actually written by Australian duo Felix and Bang Chan. And the song is dedicated to plants and animals that were died due to bushfire in Australia.

Tiger JK is a legendary figure. He is Korean-American. He founded the Korean hip-hop group called "Drunken Tiger". He helped developing Korean hip-hop. He is also known for bringing Korean hip-hop into Korea (specifically mainstream Korea).

Stray Kids no longer have positions because they’re all very well rounded but if you wanna make it easier then the rap line is Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix. 3racha is more so the producer line rather than the rap line tho Chan started out as a rapper in 3racha which existed before Stray kids was formed. And the vocalist are Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin, I.N and Han. Han has almost equal parts in rap and vocals and is known as the ace of the group because he's so good at both. But all members rap and sing is different songs. Whether they sing or rap depends on the genre/vibe of the song rather than the members abilities. (:

My personal top 3 favs are Maniac, TA & Secret Secret (also Silent Cry is a good companion to this one).
Vocal heavy songs u might like... Levanter (Has a great Eng ver too btw), Neverending Story (gotta see the live ver!), I think Scars (some of these, including this one are Jp songs), DLMLU, Lost Me, Novel, Sorry I Love You, Gone Away (unit song), Chronosaurus, Voices, Chill, The View, Mixtape Oh, Waiting For Us (another unit)...Skz are my Ult group so I could go on x3

Just binge watched your reactions and been enjoying them all. I find it funny that you think Bang Chan is one of their rappers (which he IS or mainly in 3Racha) but he's mostly doing vocals and producing nowadays. And I just really want more Chan rapper in future SKZ music cause Chan stans are very deprived of his wonderful rapping nowadays :'( but anyways, they're mostly all-rounders and I think you'll enjoy their newest album "Rock Star" much more, especially the slower songs but it's a no skip mini album!
Actually, Hyunjin is a very talented painter. And Felix is getting more and more confident in his singing. You should check out his solo Deep End which highlights his vocal capabilities. All of the members can sing and rap. Most of the rapping is done by Changbin, Han and Bangchan for 3racha specific songs, Hyunjin and Felix.

Yeah for Skz position stuff they pretty muh do whatever they want lol. No official positions but we do have sub units, 3racha (Chan, Changbin & Han), Daneracha (Lee Know, Hyunjin & Felix) & Vocalracha (Seungmin & I.n)
But also its not like all rounders all the time for every member. They're not restricted to it, but generally Changbin & (previously anyway) Felix mostly rap, Seungmin & I.n mostly sing, while Han is the member who does both very consistently. Anyway, that's mostly just extra info. I'd say the sub units are wayyy more important.

We mostly consider Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Félix to be from the rap line, Seungmin, I.N, Bang Chan and Lee Know from the vocal line but they are all rounders (currently they have no official positions) and answering your question Hyunjin debuted as a rapper but over time he began to focus on his vocal as well
I think Youtiful and Neverending story would be perfect songs for you. Maybe Collision as well since you like more melody heavy mellow songs. They do it all!

I think for the next song reactions I recommend u to check out Skz Replay album - A Side tracks ( 8 solo tracks ( color code lyrics only ) from each member with minimum written by the member itself and max take a part of composing and arranging too ) + 2 additional tracks ( FAM MV - introducing each member of Skz + LoveStay MV - A song for their fandom ) , the solo track will give you closer tone and sound of each member 😊
I feel in love with them before I fell in love with their music. I don’t typically like pop music. I’m more into old school Midwest emo. Anything Mike Kinsella touches. Very depressing lol. Stray Kids is my happy place. ❤

in terms of discography, bts def have a much bigger discography than skz given the 5 year diff in their career, but in terms of music videos, i kinda doubt that the number of mvs between straykids and bts have a huge difference, since straykids have been releasing at least three(?) music videos per comeback since even before they debuted, so with straykids, you would still have ALOT of videos lined up.
Even with their recent album, out of the 12 tracks (1 of which was initially released as an mv for stay's bday and the other being a korean version of a title track from their previous japanese album) 6/10 new tracks had mvs, 5 of which were the ones u just reacted to, so good luck to you FRFR
